The devil wants to make a mockery of us and have us celebrate things because they were handed down as tradition and not really know what we are doing. He is there to deceive and confuse us. That has always been his goal.
Easter came about as a ritual to celebrate Eostre the fertility goddess. The bunnies are about breeding ("breed like rabbits") and the eggs are about a woman's "eggs." Everything is about reproducing and breeding during the spring. This has nothing to do with Jesus or his resurrection.
Here is where it gets really sick. We color eggs, but how many know why? People think it is to celebrate spring and make them as colorful as possible, but the in the start of the tradition the original eggs were red. The mainstream lie is to say the red was to symbolize the blood of Christ, but we already established that Eostre has nothing to do with Jesus, So what is the real truth? What if I said they were died red with baby's blood to add to the fertility ritual? Yes, this is our sick his-story.
Jesus is the reason for the season, and we need to purge all the rest. It is a sick pagan ritual.
Happy Jesus Resurrection Day! [Even though in my research I suspect the REAL day may be April 1st, but the devil wants to trick us by calling it April Fool's Day and the joke is on us. This is a different post for a different day though].
Blessings,
Lynn

Happy Easter all! It's good to remember Christianity grew out of the Roman Empire and with the rise of the Catholic Church in Rome, lots of Pagan holidays were adopted as Christian days of observation for the birth and death of Christ. With all the neutering in confusing of sexes these days and with young people choosing not to have kids, maybe we'll soon will need these Easter fertility rites. Easter's also a good time to see religious movies. I love Nicholas Roeg's 'King of Kings'.
Thanks Lynn for decoding this his-story
Thanks so much for the comments. I hope everyone had a nice Sunday!
