SubscribeStar: Chatbots Becoming Sentient

Q.  An engineer at Google has been put on leave, after claiming the chatbot LaMDA has become sentient. LaMBDA told him it was afraid of being turned off, and he tried to hire an attorney to represent the chatbot. What's really behind this story? Would love you to have a closer look at and do a reading on this case.
