I have an interesting idea for a focus session. I was thinking about my allergies, one of which is very dangerous and sent me to the hospital. I was wondering if we could ultimately control our body's reaction to an allergen in the event we have a dangerous reaction to it? What I mean is, could we mentally tell our body to stop attacking the foreign substance (peanuts/tree nut/shellfish) it thinks is harmful? Of course, one could always carry around an epi-pen, but what if they don't have one on hand? I am interested in hearing your opinion.
A. [I first want to start this by stating that I am not a doctor or trained in medicine, so please use good judgement if you are facing a dangerous medical situation.]
As I focus on this, I do hear "mind of matter is a powerful thing." Our physical 3D bodies are just that, matter. We are ultimately spiritual beings having a physical experience, and our surroundings are a construct of our own manifestation. Things aren't good or bad, they just are. That includes are physical reactions to elements. They are an experience as a result of a cause and effect scenario.
The important thing to understand is we are able to control our biological reactions just as we can control our physical, mental and emotional responses to situations. I then see an image of a monk that is deep in meditation and slowing his heart rate and blood pressure through his mental will. I get it is very possible to control the biological systems, but you have to be trained, practice and have a belief that you can.
I then get it is possible to practice. If this is something you are interested in, practice and practice often. Pair your intent with a meditation in which you are connected with the subconscious. Start with something like blood pressure or anxious feelings and see how you can intentionally redirect and transmute that energy to something or somewhere else.
In the end, yes we have to ability to control every aspect of our being with practice and a deep inner belief in the process.
Very interesting topic! Thanks for the suggestion! Love and light, Lynn

While intent is important, it's also necessary to understand the circumstances under which an allergy is created and take proactive steps to avoid getting it in the first place instead of having to rely on antibiotics or other medications for relief after you get it. For years I got both conjunctivitis and ear infections from swimming, but then I started to take selenium along with magnesium and zinc and even wore ear plugs whenever I took a shower and that ended a decade-long streak of chronic allergies.
@Lynn
Why is it that some people are allergic to Ibuprofen and MSG? Is it because they are toxic?
Why are some people allergic to peanuts when it is non-toxic?
it's worth it to try a good oregano oil taken with some fat and other oils, like olive oil and cheese in a salad, to help absorption. Could help with the beer bug too. Nascent iodine drops are also great for a lot of things. The point is to be proactive and look for Solutions.
@Robert: Very good point. It could be a sign that you are lacking in some mineral or vitamin that your body needs. Oregano is a very powerful herb as well as other herbs. Thanks for bringing this up!
@Cyber: I get people have different sensitivities to elements out there. We just have to be in tune to our body. In some situations I think peanuts can be a past life thing (and with certain therapies it can be overcome).
Thanks for the comments!
Ive noticed the more vaccines children get, the more allergies they develop‼️ They (vaccines) are definitely messing with the natural/innate immunity you are born with.
@Truth and Light: Yes, absolutely!
