Jason Aldean - A little country, A little controversial

Q.  Hey Lynn, I'm sure you've heard of Aldean's new song that has people in fits.  What are your thoughts?  Was it to bring together people or to insight even more violence?

https://www.washingtonpost.com/entertainment/music/2023/07/20/jason-aldean-song-video-pulled-cmt-controversy/

A.  I did hear of this, and then I watched the video.  Here is my intuitive take on it..

People are FED UP with the violence, mob mentality, looting, destruction and entitled mentality of certain groups of people.  Many Americans want to move back to the conservative ideals where kids are safe to play outside and you can go to a store in some of these areas without wondering when the mob will hit.  We needs morals, ethics and most importantly God back in our lives.

A race war was stoked by the Powers That Were to divide us, and the alt liberal and groups doing the looting carry a lot of hatred in their hearts. The PTW told them they were victims, they were oppressed and they are owed these things they steal.  They have also been convinced that if another group is seemingly doing a little better in life it must be because of the oppression that was done in order to get ahead.  This is total BS and not one person doing the damage, violence or looting lived during the civil war.

If you don't like your life, change it and quit blaming others.  Rather than having a pity party look at someone you see as successful and see what they are doing that you aren't.  Don't hate someone that is doing better, change your life to do better for yourself.  Use them as motivation and not an excuse. There are so many programs and assistance out there for health, skill training etc that if someone wants to find a way they will, and if they don't they will find an excuse.  You are not owed anything - pull up your big boy/girl pants, get your shit together and quit blaming others.  That is not the true American way and will never make you happy or get you ahead in life.

Americans are fed up and this oppressed way of thinking isn't going to be tolerated.  You might get away with it in these big cities, but small towns are a different story.   If a mob went to the local store to destroy property, steal or act like the owner owed something for a past wrong of 200 years ago, the mob needs to realize that owner is someone's neighbor, brother, uncle, dad, church member, etc.  You can bet that mob would get a ass beating immediately.  Small towns know everyone, good and bad.  The PTW have little influence there.  The song simply said it won't be tolerated so don't bring your shit stirring here. It's not just a warning, it is a fact. You cannot win.

I see that it isn't even the words of the song that enraged people, it was more about the video.  We all know this wild animal mentality (and that is what the fighting and looting look like) is happening, but they don't like seeing the pics of the people doing the crime.  Just like they don't want to identify ethnicity or sexuality of people when a crime happens to protect certain groups, they don't want a video that compiles this heinous behavior and what groups are doing it.  Certain media want to say the imagery used is "alleged," which is total BS- it happened, we know it did, and the imagery wasn't CGI.  There is a group out there so full of hate, it's like a virus trying to consume everyone.

I say if you want this crap to end and you want our country back, you have to support people that are willing to put their career on the line.   People are fed up.

Get right with God.  Love, Lynn

We can no longer be intimidated from expressing ourselves
because a small segment of the population finds everything
offensive.
Speak up and speak out, at 63 I find I’m immune to their ridiculous
demands on the rest of society.
Spot on Lynn.
