A. When I think about God, I sense a HUGE masculine energy. We relate this energy to a "He" and God is referred to as such throughout time and biblical writings. As of late this has come under debate, and I truly see this is just a way to try to confuse people create anger or emotions where it doesn't need to be. Yes, question things, but don't allow the outside influences to create an anger of low vibe emotion where it doesn't belong. In recent times the goal has been to divide and the Powers That Were are doing a good job of that.
Our Source God created man and then woman from man (Adam's rib). Men were designed to be the brute force, strong and protectors. Women were his counterpart and created to be the other half to grow and nurture life. Yes, these roles can be shifted and there can be very strong women and very nurturing men, but in general biological and physical makeups support this stereotyping.
It is ok to accept that God is masculine, and that he is here to protect us. This is also why he can be referred to as the Father. Women nurture the masculine to get protection, and it is a symbiotic relationship. It is a beautiful pairing by design. Some women think this ideology makes women seem weak, oppressed or cowering to men, but this isn't true. Women are just as important, we just serve a different role. Our current society is implanting these ideas to make people think certain groups are oppressed, but this is not true. We serve two different roles and just because the grass may seem greener on the other side, it isn't. Feminine and masculine energy is distinctly different, but harmonizes perfectly.
Listen to your inner soul. Be honest with yourself and really challenge where your beliefs come from. When you really listen to the guiding force within, you will find inner happiness.

I always thought of God as my father in heaven and it never fit right to think of him as a her no matter what new age ideas came along and I agree with your vision about his aura
Thank you Lynn for this great reading and I do agree with Margaret comment! On another topic: may I ask if you already have done a reading on Serpent Mount (located in Peebles, Ohio). It´s age and origin is highly controversial as can be seen in the pertinent wikipaedia entry (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serpent_Mound). What attracted my attention to it was a recent Graham Hancock interview where he states that archaeologists have forbidden him to revisit the site (https://youtu.be/S3f5Hp9111c?t=1759 ). Can you maybe look at this subject one day? Thank you!
Thanks so much for the comments.
@Guedes de Miranda: Yes, I'm happy to look at this. This mound is only about 10 min from my house. :-)
Okay Lynn, but is there a Mrs. God? That is the question.
Wonderful post, Lynn. I have wondered of this as well and I have always believed the answer to be 'a little bit of both'. Yet, the analogy that came to me was it takes strength to dig, till and plow the fields. And then a gentle touch to nurture the fields with sowing, watering, fertilizing etc. Strength is the foundation. Like strong roots that hold the tree and then the feminine aspect for all else to grow and flourish.
@Robert: I don't think so... good question!
@Kyle: Beautifully said. :-)
I usually use gender-neutral terms to refer to God, because terms like "father" etc. has negative patriarchal connotations. but when I "talk" telepathically with it, it's messages are decoded as a male, very deep voice, something like you would imagine the voice of a majestic mountain to be, if it could speak.
@The enlightened.... Mountains may not be able to speak but they can express themselves in an expressive manner! Almost as high as the Aconcagua (the highest mountain in the Americas) Mt. Kailash in the Indus headwater area of Tibet (now China, unfortunatelly) was never climbed on and those who did got mad or died. ( "Tibetan mythical mountain nobody dares to climb https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBOSdDNIf8g ). May be an interesting reading topic....?
I always thought Source was an 'IT'. I'm an NDE case, I've reincarnated as both genders, and what's the point of even having a gender in the higher levels of existence? Our makeup regarding genders is for breeding purposes, which I personally found to be an inconvenience, and made sure I couldn't via surgery at 19. (I'm 61. One of the smartest moves I ever made. I have a life to live, not be perpetually inconvenienced by a liability, considering I'm a suburban dweller, not a farmer who needs cheap labour.)
Wonderful reading. I’m just a bit confused. Not sure if prior readings mentioned that we were genetically placed here by other higher beings, and todays reading, mentioned God made men from his image? I know is a very broad subject..
Also, I’ve been wanting to post this for a general reading. Angelique Cottin (1846), they named her the electric girl. I read her story. It amazes me. Her story is quite long. Things would jolt upon her touching it. It would be interesting to get a reading on her.
Thanks
@enlightened one: I agree with the voice... I connect that way too..
@Love to Push Buttons: I can see your point as we ascend, but in the universal laws things work in balance. There is a yin yang effect always harmonizing.. It becomes more of an energy (divine feminine and masculine), but they are distinctly different.
@Karonline: I have seen both pathways to seeding the earth. I think there are different lineages and some are from creation and some are seeded from other sources.. I'm trying to make sense of it all too (great question!).
Lynn, thank you for your well explained responses. I feel compelled to express my two cents once more. We often view the feminine/masculine in a biological sense, which is why we are often careful in a our approach when attributing the nature of God. This discomfort I believe, is in part due to our social programming. In an energetic sense, both masculine/feminine aspects are present in all humans. In the 3D world, feminine energy leans slightly more towards female while masculine energy leans more towards males (Divine Duality & Separation at work). There are exceptions but this seems to be consistent within the fabric of our reality. Which is why the Native Americans have often appoint women as shamans (latent connection to Mother Gaia & natural intuition) & men as Chief (as an enforcer, administration, hunting etc.) Role are divided because this is to serve the Greater Good (focusing on community, family etc.) and less about how one feels as an individual.
