If this chakra is blocked you may feel like you aren't yourself or even have a very disconnected feeling between yourself and the 3D world. It creates a sensation that your mind isn't connected to your physical body. (I've had this after doing energy work and it is a very odd sensation). You may even feel light headed and in need of major grounding. Grounding can help pull everything together like an anchor and sync up your energetic system with your physical systems.
Many times an emotional release will offer profound help. For this reason once you let out emotion, and then recover (which could be minutes or days), you can feel much more in tune with yourself and have clarity in what it is you are wanting to do. This is because you are able to access your higher self with greater ease.
Opal and Selenite are powerful crystals that can help when working with this chakra. You can use one or both when meditating or working to open this chakra. Fasting can also be helpful if you are having cloudy feelings or trouble feeling like you cannot connect to your higher self.
This is a very intense chakra. It doesn't hold trauma in the same way the body chakras hold it. When doing introspective or analytical work, this chakra is super helpful as it provides a gateway to the higher self.

Selenite is a very powerful crystal. It is very soft and can be dissolved in water as well.
I once dissolve a bit of selenite in water and added a few drops of olibanum essential oil. As I drank the water, I got the strangest feeling of having a protective angel entering my body, and being surrounded by angels. It felt very warm and comfy. The water was special as well, and had been collected from one of many springs that are only active in the wet season, and supplies an area with water that gets flooded with water each wet season. Thus, the water spread out shallow like a mirror over a large surface, and absorbed the energies of the heavenly bodies, as their light was reflected by the water. These kind of springs have more of the fire and air element, and less of the water and earth element like normal springs do. Thus, this kind of spring water can help you connect more with higher energies.

I've been taking selenium daily, which is derived from selenite, as an anti-virus precaution ever since the beginning of covid in 2020 and I feel as though it's been of great benefit energetically in that I developed more vivid dreams. The Crown Chakra is really the ultimate expression of our being as the energy that works up through all of the lower body chakras culminates with the crown. It all starts with being thoroughly grounded (I think the selenium protects and helps ground) and visualizing you have deep roots going into the earth in order to bring that kundalini like energy upwards through your body. I also imagine that psychics and those interested in the psychic aspects of life already have well formed crown chakras.

As far as I could notice, the effect lasted about 6 hours. I felt as though all negativity left me, and I began laughing and singing. One factor that possibly might have contributed to the effect is that the crystal was engraved with a pattern of sacared geometry. Something similar to the flower of life. The crystal and water was put in a clear glass bowl with a foot in the middle, which they widened at the top into a round, shallow container for the water, in order to imitate and create a link to the place the water had been collected from. And to enhance the connection with the air element.
