Q. Lynn, I know you are taking a break from the darker stuff, but PLEASE look at the University of Idaho killings. Four students were murdered and the case is growing cold. Many things about this case don't add up or make sense. Are you able to get anything on this? Thank you so much!!
A. Ok... Let's do this as a way to share, get people talking. I'm hopeful the right people will align to get this case closed and help these poor families get closure to truly terrible act. 
As I approached this, I see this more like a timeline to help me understand. Let me break this down:
- I realized four friends went off in different directions that night. Of the four victims, two girls went one direction, and then a boy/girl friend group that went in another. I seem to be focused on the boy/girl friends and think this may have rooted with them..
- I get two guys that were mentally challenged and self-medicated spotted the boy/girl friends at a club.
- As the boy and girl drank, they got slightly drunk, were having fun and became very annoying to the mentally challenged men.
- I can't be sure if the men were judging their looks, the fact the friends were having fun or the friends seemingly had money... I am taking away a jealous vibe.
- The guys followed the friends home, and just watched them. They originally were going to mug or attack the friends in some way, but decided to just follow and watch to "see where they lived."
- Once the friends were home, the guys sat in a brushy/weedy area, and watched the boy and girl friends enter and turn on lights.
- They then saw the other two girls get home, enter the house and turn on the lights.
- They knew at total of four people arrived, went in the back door and ended up on the middle and upper floor. Two groups of two people were in that house (to their knowledge).
- The guys looked around outside and realized they couldn't get in the back door which had a keypad.
- The side door felt broken or not latched well, and the guys were able to slide it open.
- When the door slid open I see them walk inside very slowly and whisper "helter skelter" as they tag teamed this horrible act.
- They then approached the students two at a time, each taking on one at a time.
- I hear they "executed the element of surprise almost perfectly." My impression was they were eerily happy with themselves.
I then got the following things to investigate..
- Look in brushy areas outside the home where you can see the upper two levels and lights clearly. They sat there a while to somewhat disguise themselves.
- I get they followed these kids, boy and girl, on foot from the original place they were. Look for cars that were left overnight at the original location.
- One guy had a gray hoodie, dark wavy hair, dark rimmed classes, Caucasian, thin, maybe 160 lbs, average height, jeans and looks like he hadn't seen the inside of a shower in a few days. I sense he was the ring-leader of this.

- His partner was thin, average height, black and white striped shirt, super thick Luigi looking moustache and dark hair. He also had white tape on his hand from where he was playing with his knife earlier and cut the palm of his hand.
- Were two guys spotted walking down the street that night? I get they walked back to the club where they first saw the friends.

What a disturbing case and Lynn you are almost heroic to look into something so horrendous and I'm sure this can greatly help because you are so specific in terms of seeing what happened. I looked on the news report of the event and you could see that the whole area near the apt building in Moscow is now covered with snow preventing some clues like cigarette butts (dna)in the bushes outside from being found, but a university bar usually has a lot of regulars who might remember seeing these two "out of place" mario mustache guys that night who later returned to the bar after the murders.
ReplyDeleteI think the "jealously" vibe had a lot to do with the motive, as if the two thought the couple had the good life they'd never have, but why would they go "Helter Skelter'? Was it a demonic possession because they were weak minded? The news said there were other students in the the ground floor they never bothered so it seems they stalked the four and saw the lights go on upstairs. I'm contacting the Moscow police with this hoping it will help.
I do hope it was helpful... It was a very sad story.

I would love to see the popularization of horror movies and true crime movies/shows to END. People have a strange fascination, which takes then to dark places and makes the unthinkable thinkable.
@Karly: I agree. It does seem like these dark shows are bringing more and more of this forward.
ReplyDeleteWow you got it - the murder looks like tall guy (luigi style). the second person was probably the dad, but more as an accomplice (helping him to escape)
