Q. Do pets reincarnate into a different breeds and return to their same owners? If so, how do they find their way back if say, they come from the pound this time? Do they see another breed and think, “Hey my folks didn’t like my need to run after rabbits, I’ll be a bird dog now” or do they just have to find a dog soul that can intersect with the owners? Eyes are the window to the soul, but are there other ways to recognize your dog in a new body?A. All living things with a life force have the ability to reincarnate, but some have to work their way up the ascension chain to get into animal and human form. If any of you have seen the movie "A Dog's Purpose" the entire premise is to try to get back to the old owner. I do see there being truth to that movie.
So much of trying to get back to an old owner has to do with synchronicity and the Universe guiding. If that soul is to meet back up with a specific person, it may take a few incarnations to get there (the person has to be ready to receive), but it will happen. It could even be that the pet becomes a neighbor's, friend's or relative's pet, but he/she will make way back to their life.
The Universe is great at giving nudges and tugging at an intuition. The person may have an overwhelming urge to check out the pound or come across an abandoned dog/cat on the side of the road. Their precious souls will cross paths if and when it is meant to be.
It is true that eyes are the window to the soul, but there are other things too. Watch the mannerisms or behaviors. Think in terms of how they act and don't focus on the exterior.
True story on manifesting and reincarnation (My personal testimony):
My kids were much younger and wanted a dog. They begged and pleaded, but we weren't sure they were responsible enough for the challenge (and even though I love dogs, my kids were so young I wasn't prepared for a "fifth" child). We were walking on our property (we have a small weekend place with a little land) and out of no where a dog appeared. It came to us like it knew us it's whole life.
The dog was golden in color and had the characteristics of a fox, so we nicknamed him Foxy. We didn't know where he lived, but looked to be cared for. He followed us back to the house and the kids wanted to keep him. Knowing he must belong to a neighbor we didn't allow the dog inside so he could go home which made the kids upset. They played all day, and we were certain that once we inside for the night he would return home. To our surprise he was there in the morning so we fed him and the kids continued to play all weekend.
We ended up going home, but each weekend when we or my husband would return Foxy would show up. We learned where he lived and let the owners know where he was. It got to where he knew the sound of the car and would stay/visit each time someone was there. We joked we had a weekend dog.
Foxy suddenly disappeared. We didn't know what happened. We asked some neighbors and looked along the road. He was just gone. We assumed that something happened when a year passed with no sign of him.
By this time I was on board with the kids getting a dog. We started looking at the pound and in the classifieds. We didn't really care what kind of dog it was, we just wanted the right dog for our family. I was at home and randomly my husband called (he was at the property) and said there was a boxer dog named Odin that was about a year old and the neighbor was looking to home him. He was rescued from a horrifically abusive situation, but the people that did the rescue could not keep him.
The kids were beyond excited and couldn't wait to go see him and pick him up. We brought him home and he proved to be the sweetest and best dog we could have hoped for. He is full of love and has been a great addition to the family.
It then occurred to us one day that he may be Foxy reincarnated so we started to watch him. They did have very similar personalities, like almost exact. The thing that really clicked for us was when Foxy was at the property, he ALWAYS wanted to lay behind and under a pull-behind trailer. It was Foxy's safe space. One day we had the trailer at our house, and Odin would not get out from underneath it anytime he was outside. We started really pay attention and could see very similar if not exact behaviors/personality traits in Odin.
Not only did my kids manifest a dog (twice!), we saw how if a soul is to be in your life, it will find a way. Sometimes those ways are random and most unexpected as in our example. Just go with it and see what reward the Universe may have in store for you.
And that is all I have for this reading. Thank you. Love and light, Lynn

What a great read and an amazing story about Foxy and Odin, Lynn! I wonder if Foxy passed trying to travel to your home to be with you there. it's so interesting because I've always believed there's a telepathic way we can communicate with all animals and pets really form a much deeper bond. In fact I think the beerbug has been great for dogs, cuz it seems everyone bonded closer to their dogs with all the isolation from humans. I like the pic of Odin, he looks great!
WOW! :)
Robert: Thanks! We just love him. He has a sad past, but he is well loved now!
@Guedes de Miranda: :-)
Thank you so sharing your personal story. I still miss my sweet dog Bear and hope we will cross paths again soon. Although, my middle child is very much like him. Always following me around, Bear had attachment issues since I rescued him, they are both sweet as can be and laid back. I often wonder if there is a little piece of Bear in my daughter. I lost him when I was 5 months pregnant with her. Maybe their souls crossed paths.
Thank you for your story :) and all that you do :) I swear our beautiful Doberman (Cindy) that I grew up with was my Ozzy (Cairn Terrier) come back to be with me. Same personality, same love, same protection. After Ozzy passed he came to me in a dream, he looked beautiful and young, so happy to see me, he danced around..it was so real that I could even smell him. He is dearly missed.
I was living in town to look after my mother. I managed to rent the unit next to hers. I kept getting this urge to get a cat and kept putting it off, instead I put up cat pictures and posters. This went on for four months. However the urge got very strong so I rang a vet up the street and they did have one kitten in there but that kitty was going to another home soon. So I left it at that. Next day I was speeding along past the vet when suddenly for absolutely no reason I pulled into and parked in front of. So I said well that's strange, but now that I am here I will tell them that I don't want the kitty. But when they brought that little white blue eyes himmalayn cross out to show me I knew instantly that that kitty was coming with me despite the fact it was being picked up later that day by new owners. And of course the cat was mine later that afternoon because he wasn't the right sex. I named him Cruza. That cat turned out to be my mother's pride and joy. She called him Kersta. She lived for him. She would look for him to walk past her front door looking like he was 'late for business'. He would meow to come inside her house and spend time sleeping on her couch in unusual 'contortions'. One day her health was failing and she wasn't able to open the door to him so she told him to go home to his mother. So he left. She rang me and asked if the cat had just come home. I said yes he just jumped inside. She was amazed and said that my cat could understand English and she renamed him Lord Kersta.
I think our pets understand us via intention (heart and mind), verbal n physical language. There are times when I talk about how naughty they are and they look sideways at me and grunt 😂
After my younger dog passed away, sometimes we could smell her mouth or body after wet (yuck). There was a time when my brother and I were walking in the park and a brown dog rushed to greet us, jumping up and pressed nose close. I believe it's our dog sending msg via another dog.
Thanks for all the comments!
@KatieB: I do sense they crossed paths. Hugs!
@Juliana: I love this. ;-)
@Suz: Thanks for sharing your great story!
@MJ: I think you are right. :-)
I believe that after a beloved pet has passed they hang around a while, just as a deceased relative might. That has been my experience when I had to release 2 terminally ill cats; I know they followed us home from the vet. I could feel pressure on the bed where they would normally rest at night and otherwise see them in my peripheral vision. One had a habit of jumping from the toilet to the sink for water while my husband was in the shower every morning; he would still hear this happening soon after "Honey" passed. And I believe they're waiting for us on the "Other Side" for a happy reunion.
Juliana - just like when we pass, your Ozzy appeared to you young and beautiful. On the Other Side our appearance is malleable; we needn't appear old or sick as when we died, but instead youthful and as we were at our best. I believe it's the same for our pets.
When we dream of relatives who have passed it's the same (although if you only knew a grandparent as elderly, they may choose to appear that way to you). Those dreams of meeting relatives/pets who have passed, I believe, are actual meetings on the astral plane, since we go there every night. When we pass we will go there as well, just not be able to return to the physical realm as we would every morning. Dreams are usually nonsensical because we don't have full use of our faculties while there, but will after passing. Though I sometimes lucid dream (know I'm dreaming WHILE I'm dreaming) and in those cases, I am, literally, lucid, and the dreams aren't nonsensical at all and I'm in control, can float, fly, etc. A taste of what's to come when we pass over.
Weeze: Thank you so much for sharing. I really appreciate it!
