Q. Hi Lynn, I was wondering if you have any thoughts on this young woman's death. Jiah Nafisa Khan was a promising young actress, born in the UK but of Indian/ Pakistani heritage.  She moved to Mumbai (Bombay) to pursue a career in Bollywood. 

In 2013 she was found dead and her death was ruled a suicide. Interestingly in India there is a charge called 'abetment to suicide' which makes it a criminal act to 'drive someone to take their own life' through bullying or abuse.  Her ex boyfriend has been charged with this. 

To make things complicated, her mother believes she was actually murdered. What happened to her? Here is an article about it which takes the view she was murdered, though entertains the idea she may also have been very depressed.
