Chemo-Brain

Q.  Lynn, Can you look at chemo-brain?  Many people that have had chemo experience this phenoma, and they cannot determine why. It can last for one to several months after the final treatment.  What do you see on this, and can anything be done to help with the brain fog?

A.  Interesting question.  I get when someone is having chemo a toxin in introduced into the body which effects the way nutrition is absorbed and also how the body functions.  Certain vitamins and minerals look to get blocked or excreted as a foreign substance.

I get that folic acid, B vitamins, sodium and potassium are what should be looked at.  Those four components are very important (among other, but those stand out) in nerve and brain function.  Something with the chemo blocks their absorption, and the body gets depleted.  Even a supplement of these elements is challenging, because it is as if the body will not accept them.  The effects are compounded by the chemo itself and the toll it puts on the body.

It takes time for the actual chemo to neutralize (is the word I hear) and purge from the body after a final treatment.  Depending on the person, it can take a short time or a long time.  The more toxic buildup you have (due to foods or environment) and fatty tissue, the longer it will take.  The purge of the chemo and rebalancing of the body is the first step to regain normal memory function.

And that is all I have for this reading.  Thank you.  Love and light, Lynn

It strikes me that this list of vitamins and minerals could also help anyone else suffering from brain fog or memory loss. Thanks for doing this read, Lynn.

Lynn - I'd be interested in your take on something called "MED BEDS." Once the world population has tipped the scales in their Awakening, will we see these beds replace the old paradigm of conventional hospital treatments/big pharma cash machines? And if so, how soon?

Watching a love one be eaten/killed by nasty chemo is hard. I welcome the day that alternative "real" cures are brought to the forefront and not hidden away where one secretly has to tip-toe around to get this information.

I think chemo damages brain cells directly. It can also permanently damage the heart. Chemo is cytotoxic poison, it damages fast-growing cancer cells most, but other tissues to a lesser extent too.

@Robert: I think so too!

@ss:I think alternative options are on the horizon. The issue is if our government. If we go socialist, I see them blocking a lot of things that aren't "mainstream." They are already blocking information via the horrendous censorship. I am very concerned because I don't want any freedoms or info blocked.

@Unknown: I would totally agree.

Chemo is godawful. Ive seen my mother battle with the chemo and its side effects than the cancer itself. She is a trooper! I cannot fathom how you poison (chemo) to health?! It makes no sense!

I am very curious about immunotherapy, something I took infusions of for lymphoma.

I’ve notice that my memory is affected, but I also remember that my memory became affected before treatment too, around the time I started feeling unwell (about 6 months before I was diagnosed).

So I have wondered, is it the strain of having a blood cancer? Or the immunotherapy? Or both?
Any thoughts on that? My therapy was called Rituximab.

Thanks Lynn!

@Truth and Light: I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. I pray she overcomes this.

@Gratitude: I do think it is a combo of both. When the body is not in optimum working order, it can effect the nervous system and challenge memory. (I'm on Ocrevus which is in a similar family).
