James Randi the Skeptic

Q. James Randi, who refused to believe anything about psychic phenomena or the afterlife, has died. Now that he is on the other side, what is his reaction to finding out this is all real and that he was wrong?

A.  Great question!  I love this!

When I connect to him, I hear the phrase "I wasn't so much a skeptic, but I just couldn't trust the subtle answers I got."  I hear that he was very left-brained.  He focused on analysis and facts.  Even when he was a performer (magician) he knew that each "trick" could be explained.  He didn't believe in chance, and things he did were very calculated.  This way of thinking had him stuck in the rational, conscious mindset, and he didn't trust intuition or instincts of proof in the higher vibrational senses.  I hear that more than anything he wanted someone to give him some kind of proof, but his analytical and rational mind would always dismiss the evidence no matter how compelling.  He was unable to be a believer.

Now that he has crossed over, he does feel differently.  He believes in the spiritual aspect, but he even still has some doubts in the psychic phenomena or the ability to effectively communicate.  He goes on to explain that spirits, energy and beings are all around.  He then says that it is much harder to communicate with the 3D than what people think (which is ironic because I'm connected to him now).  He says this (communication for him) is more driven by the 3D because someone in the 3D has to reach out or be open to make a connection.  Should he want to reach out, it is very difficult.  He could try to mess with electronics, or shift air in a home, but if the person isn't open, they will never know or understand that is a sign (which was he he was in human form- not open).

He has tried to communicate with loved ones,  and been met with a lot of frustration.  There is a learning process.  Trying to get permission or have a person open up is difficult.  He does want family to know he is ok, and he is around.  There is a certain granddaughter or great-granddaughter he is very connected to.  She looks to be about 6 or 7, fair skin and light hair (her name sounds like it starts with the "A" sound). He wants her to know he is near and guiding her (she has had a tough time recently).

Overall this reading further reinforced my understanding that we have the power to dictate who and to some degree how spirit communicates with us.  We do have to give permission, and we can set protections against lower vibe beings.

And that is all I have for this reading.  Thank you.  Love and light, Lynn

Lynn's read on Randi makes so much sense. I always wondered why a magician would build his whole career on trying to debunk mysteries, psychic ability & the metaphysical world around us. He should have used the left side of his brain a little more.

how would we communicate to a loved one that we are open? I receive a lot of messages that I can't understand.

@AL233: Meditation is a great way. For those with difficulty doing that, have intent that they will come to you in your dreams.
