In the spirit of Halloween, I pulled this question. I see Ouija Boards as a very serious tool, and not to be played with as toys...
Q. Apparently, Ouija Boards work because of a machine hidden somewhere. The sun and the moon are essential. By "the sun and the moon" I mean the sun and the moon draw on the Ouija Board.
But there are probably multiple uses to an Ouija Board.
1. Inter-dimensional communication: We all know about that. As to hauntings resulting from the use of an Ouija Board, I think it is only because the spirit is now familiar with the space in which it was used.
2. Moving matter between dimensions, or solid-body creation: This is probably another use of an Ouija Board. It is said that you are never supposed to tell a spirit to appear. Also, I read a story in which an incantation was used while an Ouija Board was being used and it actually made a demon appear, but is it solid-body creation or moving matter between dimensions?
I hope that you can help shed more light on what Ouija Boards are and how to use them.

A. First, I want to say do not use them unless you know what you are doing! You must set protection of the space, and also each person involved in the use needs to be able to set protection and old their personal space. Unless you have experience with doing this, and feel very confident (because you truly know what you are doing, and not confident based on a place of being naive), do not play with these boards.
I see Ouija Boards can be effective in connecting to the other side, but the real issue comes from how they originated. I see lots of dark magic tied to them, and they were used in very dark rituals. As these became tools of the darker forces, the PTW (The Powers That Were), I see they tried to get these dark magic tools into the hands of the public so people that didn't know what they were doing could conjure up darker spirits. People were unintentionally drawing in these spirits and strengthening the PTWs goals (low vibration makes ascension much harder). Now these boards can be found in the gaming isle of most stores, and kids, which are some of the most "intuitively open" beings have access to these tools.
When you bring this spirit forward, good or bad, you are opening up your space and allowing permission for it to exist. They can be stubborn, and not want to leave. These beings on the other side want to be heard, so they will "rush" the opportunity the Ouija Board provides. These beings most general reside in spirit, and not physically, and can intend to cause harm either by their own will, or implanting ideas in those around them (using a physical being to do "their" work.).

it's not just Ouija boards. There seems to be an epidemic especially among the young people of being possessed or having entities attached to their etheric bodies. any number of things can bring this type of attachment about such as drugs drinking Etc, and often this is written off as being bipolar or depression which are treated with drugs that can only make things worse. It seems like dark Forces are preying on the young now more than ever.

I thought about buying one, but I'm one of the fortunate that can communicate with the other side easily. I have full conservations with people through my phone, a pen and paper, or with my mind.
Robert Schoen I totally agree people diagnosed as having psychosis and see people that no one else does and feel they are being followed all stem from addictions that open their personal space to the other side.
Someone I knew had insecure income causing great stress and anxiety which led to doctors, drugs, self medicating and alcohol, he told me he 'knew they were there' (the bad people) when the person he was talking to would suddenly look at them sideways. Thats when he had to pretend he didn't notice and carry on as normal while planning an escape. He said he was followed everywhere he went, towns, states. He could not get away. This man was already sensitive to the other side and now the other side had exploded into his world. He became very unstable.

@TheOnlyOne: You are fortunate. I would stay away from these then. You are gifted, and all kinds of beings would want to rush you if you play with one of these.
@Sanles: It is really difficult for those experiencing this. Part of the issue is beings like to be acknowledged, and they feed on fear. Interacting with them gives them strength, and the fear keeps vibrations low, so the attachment or interaction is easier for the being.
They would need to start with just creating a healthy lifestyle (watch what they eat, try to get enough sleep, exercising- even if it is walking, and work on a healthy headspace through meditating or quiet time). A healthy physical body really does help a healthy mental/spiritual body. As they progress they will detox enough and rise vibrations enough that they can (most times) detach from what is causing them distress. I realize this can be complicated and every situation is different (some use reiki, saging, etc), but the above would be my general approach without really tuning into someone specific.
@CC671971: No, but we think a like on lots of things and have similar points of view. We are really good friends and collaborate well together. :-)
Always interesting learning about ouija. There are still plenty of people who play with it. I have never touched one nor seen one in real life.
