Bird Flu Hoax: Deep State's Fowl Play

Let's discuss what is going down in the dairy isle at the store. If egg prices climb any higher, they'll have to start offering layaway plans. What's the deal here?

Protein Quality: Eggs are a complete protein source, containing all nine essential amino acids necessary for muscle growth and repair. They are highly digestible and can enhance muscle protein synthesis, which is crucial for maintaining muscle mass, especially in older adults.
Heart Health: Despite their cholesterol content, eggs do not necessarily increase the risk of heart disease for most people. Studies suggest that eating eggs can increase HDL (good) cholesterol and may improve the size and composition of LDL (bad) cholesterol particles, making them less harmful.
Weight Management: Eggs are low in calories and high in protein, which can help with weight loss and maintenance. They have a high satiety index, meaning they can help you feel full for longer, reducing overall calorie intake.
Eye Health: Eggs contain lutein and zeaxanthin, antioxidants that are important for eye health. These nutrients can help reduce the risk of age-related macular degeneration and cataracts.
Brain Function: Eggs are a good source of choline, a nutrient essential for brain development and function. Choline is particularly important for pregnant and breastfeeding women as it supports fetal brain development.
Vitamin D: Eggs are one of the few natural food sources of vitamin D, which is important for bone health and immune function.
Nutrient-Rich: Eggs contain a variety of essential vitamins and minerals, including vitamins A, D, E, B12, and B2, as well as iron, iodine, and phosphorus.

  1. Love eggs. Try to eat two daily, often as my main meal. Thanks for the reminder of how good they are!

  2. Someone in central Pennsylvania stole a whole truck full of 100,000 organic eggs yesterday. I call fowl on the whole egg a geddon crime.
I paid $5.27/$4.17/$3.72 just in the last two weeks at my local Walmart and grocery stores.
We will be buying from our local farms in another month, so that should relieve some of the sticker shock.

    1. I am hopeful this will get under control. We had a hen recently hatch some chicks... We will be up to 6 hens (and I think 2 chicks are roosters so we will prob trade one of them b/c our Rooster likes his domain). We get about an egg a day each hen, so we will be good when daylight returns. I'm looking forward to that! We love our eggs.

  3. Do you no longer resonate with the medical medium info from Anthony William? The backbone of his books is anti egg and he did a Telegram post warning people to stop eating chicken

    1. I think Medical Medium is a brilliant man, but (with all do respect) I think he has the egg thing wrong. It is one of the most nutritious and complete foods out there.

  4. Did he specify between factory chickens raised in giant barns with medicated grain feed often with glyphosate residue and pasture raised chickens spending all day in sun free range eating their natural diet of bugs and worms? There's a big difference in egg and meat quality.

    1. I'm not sure he did specify, but I TOTALLY agree. They are very different. My chicken free range and the yolk is very dark yellow and the eggs are delicious!
