Have you ever stopped to think where certain phrases or words came from? The word "tarnation" came up during a conversation this weekend. Here is a little his-story on the phrase HERE. In short, it was a way to show a frustration without using a curse word.
Here is what I think....
In the late 1700s or early 1800s when the phrase came about it was slang for Tartarian Nation or Tartary Nation. When people said the phrase "What in tarnation" or "Where in tarnation" it was slang created from words of long ago.
As an example, in Tartarian times it would be said "Where in Tartary Nation did you find that?" or "What in Tartary Nation made you think of that idea?"
There is no doubt in my mind we had a very civilized society, most likely due to a Millennial Reign, that was followed by a rapture, mud flood and loosing of the devil for a short season (see Revelations below). Those that survived this carried some of the language and phrases forward. Like all language, slang and abbreviations eventually developed. It is my belief this is just one example of many that Tartary did exist.
Blessings,
Lynn
Revelation 20:3 “And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.”

Interesting that Russia is the old Tartaria and the the Christian Putin, so demonized, fights the Deep State interests in child trafficking, Ukraine Nazism so linked with Antifa, and the venomous Biolabs and crooked operations of US CIA and crooked politicians.
Have wondered what this phrase originated from..thanks Lynn !!!
@Robert: That is quite ironic, isn't it?
@margaret: It was like a lightbulb went off when I heard someone say it...
Also the word tar-nish may be another one. Such as to have ones reputation tarnished. It seems the controllers wanted to add negativity to the word. I think a lot of our language may have originated from the old world such as cathode - cathedral and andiron (fireplace holders) - anode. Perhaps we should start compiling a list.
@335AT: Exactly. The start forts were once power centers and we have current in water (also in electric) and the center of powerhouses were the electric-city= electricity. I could go on and on..
