A. There are definitely instances where mirrors can be very dark and have negative spirits attached. If you stop to think, people of all types stare into this object, and have thoughts ranging from insecurity, vanity, love or self-loathing. These objects take the brunt of all types of emotion, and reflect it back to the person projecting. In many ways the emotions are magnified because the person is feeling, experiencing and then seeing the feeling an experience reflected back upon themselves. Mirrors can be an amplifier of good and evil. 
In black magik, mirrors can be used to show a duality of worlds. We experience our world and if you peer into a reflection you may see glimpses of shadows or figures within another world. When paired with candles, rituals or ceremonies, mirrors can provide a gateway for demonic activity. Scrying is a perfect example of using mirrors to get a vision, and you may not be prepared for what you see as demons are drawn to this occult activity. God wants you to have faith in him. The devil works through these tools.
James 2:19 - "You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder!"
Remember Project Looking Glass and the "Yellow Cube" in which people witnessed past and future events? Well, what is a looking glass in the purest form? I sense mirrors played a huge role (much like the scrying mirror mentioned above), and the things witnessed were not done with positive intentions. I get that some kind of satanic practice or demonic activity was paired with this to make the project see it's fruition. The evil bloodlines have sold their souls and the devil is guiding them.
Now let's visit Disney movies. Remember "Mirror, mirror, on the wall..." What may seem like an innocent movies was an early lesson in vanity. We all know about Disney's nefarious activities and the "LOVE" for children. Anything tied to this person or company is already going down a dark path.
Don't get me wrong, mirrors can be very innocent and reflect that innocence. They can also do the inverse and with enough evil the mirror can retain negative demonic activity too.
The above is also true with vanity and another reason why the mirror is such a powerful occult tool.

It's funny this comes up today because just last night I saw a video on a "true mirror" in which 2 mirrors are placed 90 degrees from each other so that instead of seeing your features inverted left and right like in a normal mirror, you actually see yourself as others see you, which becomes a shock to many because they have an "inverted" perception of how they really look. Maybe in the future they'll make big cell phone screens with cameras to create the "true mirrors" women use daily to check themselves out. Never heard of scrying before, but we have a very old mirror from Venice I was really drawn to buy and always loved, so maybe it holds good memories.
Mirrors are also associated with the Greek goddess of love and beauty, Aphrodite. She also has a connection to swans and sea shells.
What I find interesting about mirrors is that you can actually see your own aura in a mirror.
Bodies of water can also act as a mirror and reflect light. I wonder if that gives them the same predisposition as mirrors to absorb energies? E.g. energy from the stars and cosmos?
I had a mirror from Ikea still in the package, but with the mirror visible, in one of the rooms I never use. I was told that demonic forces used that mirror as a portal. I got rid of the mirror.

Haha no but is crazy how things happen around us related to energies and beings from other dimensions and we are unaware, we just feel good or bad
