The Blog Going Biblical - Why the Shift?

Q.  The blog is shifting, and I like it.  I appreciate that you are looking more at the Bible.  What caused the change?

A.  Yes, I've been going through a lot of internal reflection and paradigm shifts as of late. I've been compelled to go in the direction I'm going, and something in my gut has made me more strong on certain stances.  I believe this inner guiding force in my inner God.

I've been critiqued for being "too nice" or "luke warm" in my past responses.  I agree that even though honest, I am mindful of how I chose my words.  As of late I've just been speaking freely (rather freely) because in my heart we are living in some tough times and brutal truth is what we need even if it is harsh.  If I can open one mind, make one person do research (even if to try to prove me wrong), or help someone with information I've shared, then it is worth it.  I want minds thinking!

I grew up in a Christian household.  We would go to church and I attended Sunday school.  Like a lot of kids, I liked doing the arts and crafts, but as I got older I was lazy and wanted to sleep in on Sunday (but that wasn't an option my parents gave me).  As a teen I got a part-time job and Sunday became a day for me to earn money rather than go to church.  I was allowed to take on that responsibility under their conditions.  Anyway, back to the question....

I slowly got away from organized religion.  The more I was away from church, the more I questioned it.  I believed in a higher power, I just wasn't sure what it was or what to name it.  I thought that it was naïve to think that the Christian God was the only God when so many other religions exist.  I viewed  the Bible as an ancient collection of stories, some true, some allegory and some symbolism.

I was then introduced to Spiritualism and aligned with it.  I explored many parts of it and even became a Reiki Master.  I've spent time reconciling how to be Christian and still be Spiritual, and felt I did a good job in honoring those beliefs.  I must be honest I'm starting to wonder if  New Age Spiritualism was created as a distraction from religion, and because of that I take a different posture when doing readings.  I say a little prayer to myself and welcome the protection from Jesus Christ. I focus on the person and become in harmony with their energy.  I do readings sitting in nature and NOT in my home.  I do not channel and do not do mediumship.  I focus on the person I'm reading and it is an intimate connection between me, the person and Jesus.  In taking this approach the experience has been much better! (I can get into the channeling and mediumship topic in another post if you are interested.  Let me know!)

You will also notice that I started to sign off my emails and posts in ways other than "Love and Light." I do believe in sharing love, blessings, warmness, peace and caring.  The "light" part started to feel off.  Lucifer was an angel of light and there is a reason the Illuminati refers to an illumination (of light).  I think Spiritualism was created with good intentions and was very grounded, but parts have been hijacked by lucifer to deceive people and open themselves up to spiritual attacks.  (If you want more of a post on this, let me know!).

2 Corinthians 11:14 - And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Moving out of the city and getting in the country allowed me to "detox" from the city and see things more clearly.  I thought I was grounded and had good perspective, but there is something to be said of truly getting away.  It is so clear how the devil is truly taking over our population with a focus on our youth.  Watching the mobs and destruction- that is evil and driven by the devil.  Watching these people zombified on drugs while politicians enable it- that is the devil.  Promoting sexualization of our children - sick people driven by greed AND the devil.  The devil in our our doorstep and we have to rise and fight against it. They are slowly trying to kill us.  The devil is death and God is life (notice the agenda to push late-term ab---).  The devil is whispering in many ears.

In knowing this truth, how do you counteract the devil?  It is a battle of good and evil.  Look at the words - GOoD vs dEVIL. It is spelled out. I've been nudged by an inner God or intuition to look back at my childhood upbringing and go back to the Bible.  Everything came full circle and is making sense.  If the evil or dEVIL works to suppress something it is because it works and is a threat.  Christianity is demonized.  Faith in demonized.  Prayer is taken from school.  It isn't because it is bad- it is because the morals in Christianity and the Bible go against everything evil and everything they want to do to this world.  The devil thrives on fear, sickness, disease and desperation.  Don't allow him to take hold!

In closing, tuck this into your heart:

Proverbs 2:8  "He protects the paths of justice and guards the way of those who are loyal to him."

Psalms 91:10 "No evil will happen to you, no disease will come close to your tent."

Love, Lynn

Since the '60's, if not before, Americansociety through its media, school, turning religious holidays into something different and peer pressure, has been encouraging teenagers to rebel against their parents especially in abandoning or distancing themselves from the church to find their own path. Many countries in Europe began to abandon the Church after WWI, feeling there was no God because if there was He would never allow the horrors they witnessed first hand.

It's funny to think that these days it's almost brave of Lynn to say her spiritual journey led her back to the Church, but that's the exact path that many Saints took, growing from a period in their life when they distanced themselves from religion. I also feel there's not just one way of Christianity and feel the religion of all other cultures pray to the same God. We all have to travel on our own path.

Lynn I had a very similar path. In my home country catholicism is very strong, but spritualism grew as well and now it is well established. Spiritualism developed and incorporated many aspects of the Bible, so I don't attend the church but this centers that talk about the bible in light of the spiritualism ( or as we say Espiritismo or Kardecismo - as we follow Alan Kardec).

Remember My Father's house has many rooms - for us it tells about different lives and reincarnation.
My kids are following a different religion, but I believe in many paths, so I am ok. I noticed that it has helped them (and I'd say protect) against all the evil propaganda that they now have to face in school and life, I am glad they are having a chance to develop faith.

Continue to follow your path

Hi Lynn, I would love to hear more about your take on channeling, mediumship and spiritual attacks. Do you have any tips on how we can protect ourselves from these attacks? I was taught to surround yourself with light but after reading this post on illuminati referring to illumination (“light)”, now I’m not so sure…..

Thank you.

I absolutely love your take on it as I have had the exact upbringing as you, same journey, and same final realization! And we aren’t the only ones!. I used to think how can pp who are “spiritual” go back to having a more religious viewpoint? Idk but I believe it’s bc I had handfuls of relatives, who were prayer machines would constantly bless me and Pray for me at all times which makes me believe I have be “reborn” and/or “saved”.. I’ve known several people personally, who have been developing in the same type of way, and a few other people were starting to question me asking me things who are curious. I believe we are in a time where God the Father and God the Son is bringing us back into the true Heavenly fold. So Lynne I’m curious how your talents will continue to develope? Will you become a prophet as opposed to a psychic? Either way I bless you and everyone who reads this w the Blood of Yeshua Jesus!!

@Marie and margaret: I'm happy to do a post on this and go a little deeper. Thanks!

@mr 2012: Thanks so much for the comment. I'm curious how this journey will unfold too, but I've definitely done a lot of thinking. I'm not sure I'd use the word prophet- that feels a bit bold. We shall see and those that stick around will take the trip with me. :-)

I felt so happy reading this I felt a tear choke my heart, Im so glad you took the nudging seriously and had the conversation you needed to find the confidence to take your place in his Kingdom, You are special to me and my journey, you always have been, I never felt more compelled to contact a psychic for anything, I have my personal relationship with Jesus, I always have. But you..I had to contact you..I felt strange back when I did. But seeing this post now I can find a joy and a sort of confirmation that you have been touched by Jesus and his spirit from way back and he has been leading you all along. I see the foot steps in the sand story come to mind.
If you dont mind me encouraging you to read something that has been a serious help to my recent changes I have been going through as of late. The first book of Enoch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaSYpog3ZCE
for me it has been a blessing. I am going to have to come by more often and check up on you =)...im so glad you are who you are Lynn. hang in there.
