Serpent Mound

Q. May I ask if you already have done a reading on Serpent Mount (located in Peebles, Ohio)?  It´s age and origin is highly controversial as shown in the pertinent Wikipedia entry (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serpent_Mound). What attracted my attention to it was a recent Graham Hancock interview where he states that archaeologists have forbidden him to revisit the site (https://youtu.be/S3f5Hp9111c?t=1759 ). Can you maybe look at this subject one day? Thank you!

A.  I'm happy to do a reading on this.  I actually live about ten minutes away from this place and have been to a sweat lodge and healing at this location.  It is a very magical place that I'm familiar with.

I get this structure has been around for thousands of years.  I see an ancient civilization inhabited this area and the Adena tribe inherited it many centuries later.  This location became a homeland to this original native tribe (many years before the Adena) after a meteorite left this land "charged."  The energy  drew ancient natives nearby.  It was lush with wildlife and vegetation and tribes thrived on it.

Throughout time, migration, subtle climate change and sickness, ancient tribes died off and that is when the Adena took over.

This really is an amazing place to visit.  The view is something that you cannot truly appreciate from a picture.

Much love, Lynn

What an interesting read and place! The serpent has a lot of significance in the creation of the earth lore, and it's a shame Native American art and culture is not part of "American history" taught in schools as we could learn from the ancient wisdom they were more in touch with than the European settlers that moved in. There's Poverty Point near me, which is apparently one of the earliest Native mound structures in the Americas.

A long time ago I heard that this type of wavy line represented change and I think ( not positive) that the Hawaiian people use the same symbolism

Actually it's polynesian wave symbol that represents change sorry 😔
