What's Being Stimulated?

Q.  A series of coincidences happened causing this question to come into my consciousness and I’m not sure why it’s bugging me.

Aside from out of the goodness of their hearts, what was the main benefit for the government for stimulus checks to be handed out? It hardly seems like enough to make a difference economically and they weren't given to every citizen.  That leads me to question what did they have to gain exactly or maybe what were they fearing?

A.  When I focus on these checks I get that we are in the midst of a major shift and things are about to change.  When you look at the world, even thought the dollar is shaky, it is one of the most substantial currencies out there.  The US  knows this, and is using this to bet that no matter what happens, the dollar will hold some kind of weight until something newer is implemented.  Betting that the dollar can sustain a while longer, both the socialist dems and conservatives passed this stimulus plan.

These checks are one of the last ditch efforts to keep the economy afloat while this plandemic sorts itself out.  The Power That Were (PTW) cannot keep the country closed down and not offer relief.  This experiment has shown that they have to offer some kind of financial assistance to get people through this.  This situation has also put people in a position that they need the government.  The social dems are able to see how this works in this semi socialist situation, and the conservatives are trying to offer relief until things can resume and people get back to work.

On a bipartisan level they issued these checks, but for very different reasons.  To be clear, I see the conservative want people working and are offering relief until things can resume.  The want the economy to regain strength.  The socialist dems want people to get used to how that type of system would work, and this has been a social experiment of enormous magnitude.

And that is all I have on this.  Please feel free to leave a comment.  Love and light, Lynn

I think the primary reason is to increase the national debt substantially, to break Trump's economic record just in time for the election. One of Obama's legacies was that he raised the national debt sky high, like never before. Now the Dems will be able to say that Trump's record is even worse than Obama's.

I also see it as a way to let the people be dependant on governments. As far as my knowledge go at the moment. You are not obligated to accept the money. A check is just a check, once you go to a bank to exchange it FOR money, you isseud yourself in a bond with the government (contract).
I see it all over the world where they step in for the benefit of companies corporations, and the goodwill of the people. But don't get easily fooled. It's a banking scheme

I second Christina's point about expanding the national debt. There was a lot of planning that went into this plandemic and it was all about the election and getting rid of trump. Even if our dirty DS "they" set the Chinese up as scapegoats for the covid plague, the statistics of how rapidly China was able to isolate it to Wuhan and out of its mainland suggests complicity with the scheme to obtain a mutual goal of getting rid of trump. Common sense question: how come the US was so much more affected than the country of origin? Trump is being brilliant to put all the blame on China, so maybe when it comes to our national debt he can insist on complete forgiveness of all loans made by China as restitution for the damage caused by the "Chinese" virus.

@Christina: I do agree with that as well. I think a few things went into this decision and different agendas are benefiting.

@EA RW: Good point.

@Myway: Very true.

@Robert: I also get that he is going to go back on China, and I don't see China being happy about it. THAT (if it hasn't already) feels to be the spark of some kind of war.
