San Francisco Homeless

Q. There is one subject I'd love for you to look at although it's kind of niche-y. It's the homelessness in San Francisco (and Los Angeles). The Mayors of those cities *swear* they're trying to combat homelessness, but those of us who have lived here (I've lived in SF for sixteen years) watch the actions and we think they're trying to increase the homeless population to get more and more Federal/non-profit money that they can stick their fingers into... The newest thing is that San Fran is putting some "at risk" homeless people into hotels during the pandemic.

I'm neutral on that part of the solution. -- It's not a long-term solution, but I can understand wanting to put them somewhere safe. The part of the 'solution' I have a problem with is that they're delivering alcohol, marijuana and methadone to these people so that they can continue their addiction while they stay in the hotel. That's where my eyes bugged out. https://www.kron4.com/news/alcohol-pot-delivered-to-homeless-isolating-in-san-francisco-hotel-rooms/ Do you have any read on the real reason they're doing this? Seems like an advertisement to the population at large -- just go to SF, that place is so cool they put you in a hotel and give you weed...

A. I get this is all about votes, growing a voter base and creating a submissive and dependent population. Granted not all homeless are voting, but I see in the upcoming election there will be busing from all types of areas and bribes going to potential voters to get the socialist supporting people in office (and the homeless and sanctuary cities will be a target).

The pathway to socialism is complete dependence on the government, and seeing the government as a savior. Once people are dependent, and treated like they are victims, they lose a lot of ambition to try to improve their lives, creating further dependence.

As they grow this dependent society the government becomes more and more powerful, and also more needed to keep things going. In socialism the government is large, and the people rule less and less for themselves. The CA government is concerned about their own self preservation and not as focused on cleaning up the streets and getting help for the people living on them.

I see it is true that CA is getting government funds to assist during the plandemic, but they are not using the funds in a positive and productive way. Keeping people addicted is keeping them enslaved. To truly work on solving this problem, CA would need to build large scale mental/drug facilities to get people off drugs and guide them toward some kind of clarity and positive direction. I hear that taking people and helping them use their skill set, even if they have mental challenges and do small jobs like picking up trash would help them to build pride and purpose.

And that is what I see in this sad situation. Please send love and light their way and hope people will open their eyes to what is happening. Also put intent that some kind of leadership or public official will emerge to solve the problem rather than misappropriate funds for their personal agenda.

Love and light, Lynn

Thanks for this important reading Lynn, it's so worth noting that homeless tent cities also fill Portland and Seattle & that the exact same thing is going on in New York City enabled by the insane policies of de Blasio. the good news is that it seems as though the progressive people of California, the middle class that hasn't moved to Texas, are wising up and politically the state is turning red as a reaction to the insanity, having just elected a Republican to the House and a special election.

I don't ever recall a time where there's been such blatant political abuse of Power by the minority party in our country. Miraculously we've gone three years without any War and great economic prosperity until the beer bug which is the mother of all false Flags whose goal is also to create a populace dependent upon government.

Palisades California also had a large homeless population which they solved by talking to the homeless as individuals, getting them reconnected to their families, and getting them psychiatric help. these are broken people whose addictions and anti-social lifestyle have been enabled by the system instead of helped.

@Robert: Thanks for the comment. I totally agree. This is so sad that it has gotten this far, but I am hopeful this creates a wake up for those witnessing it.

Lynn, Do you think they will get away with the massive voter fraud that they are planning?

It doesn't surprise me that this has always been about getting votes and increasing a submissive slacktivist voter base. The San Francisco region is also the home base of big tech, which is another major contributing factor to the homeless population.

This coming election is expected to get fiercely ugly, fueled by years of Trumpet hate from all forms of mass media and "pop" culture entertainment sectors.

@Alice: I do the the plandemic coming back in the fall, and voting will be a hot issue. I feel like some states will allow the mail-in votes, while others will allow in person. I see this as a huge mess, and I feel some recounting will be needed. I'm not so sure in Nov we will get out final decision on election day. There is a pathway that they will succeed with this, but it will equal major riots. This still feels very split in my mind as lots of free will and evil and flying around.

@Anonymous Reader: You are so right!

I live in the SF bay area myself, and I've seen first-hand that the city rolls out the red carpet for the homeless. "If you build it, they will come." If you make a place hospitable for the homeless, you'll invite more homeless.

Homelessness is not the only scam that California is playing for more funding. They also start many of the wild fires. More wild fires equal more Federal funding. But that's a whole 'nother post.
