Foreign Accent Syndrome
Q. Hello Lynn what is behind Foreign Accent Syndrome where people have an illness and wake up speaking with an accent from another country or actually speaking another language. Does this reflect a past life?
A. Interesting question!
I get there are two causes of Foreign Accent Syndrome. In both scenarios the person is very weak, and could even have a near death experience. What happens is the veil to the other side is so thin due to their weakened state which lowers their vibration, and residual elements of a past life can enter their physical body. Once the person recovers, their physical body "locks" in the newer characteristic. I also get that this is unique to only accent, but eye color, food preference, etc can be altered during that experience as well.
In the second scenario I get that when the person is in the weakened state, their guide or spiritual healer (that is in spirit), can come in and offer healing. The meshing of the energies can create a unique situation in which the person absorbs the spiritual being's traits. Again, this may involve memories that are unfamiliar, tastes can change and even subtle physical characteristics may evolve.
This is quite an interesting thing to witness, but can often be confusing for the person experiencing it. Trying to determine where is comes from can be difficult; however, it is most often a link to their past or their spiritual connection.
And that is all I have for this reading. Thank you. Love and light, Lynn

thanks Lynn for a great explanation for this really interesting mystery. Foreign accent syndrome always seemed kind of suspect because you would imagine that the people having it would have also have a command of the language instead of just the accent.
Accents are learned. So what if you were born with an accent that no one around you has? Like you didn't learn it, so where did it come from?
Thanks for the comments!
@TheOnlyOne: I get it is very similar. It has to do with past lives, and something trying to come forward. Most likely something in that life was not resolved, and you are hanging onto it.
'Ello ello! What's all this, then?
Another very related question which was removed from the (or never made it into it) focus requests page was: How can an autist that has dificulty in telling you how much 3 multiplied by 2 is, be capable of telling you exactly the day of the week of anybodys byrthday (also called callendrical skills) !???? ( https://youtu.be/q9eVqoRctkk )
@Watch: Sorry, I don't remember seeing that question. That is really amazing to see people do this. I get it had to do with the way they access things in their brain. Having a challenge in one area can sometimes open a gateway in another. They are able to just "see" it. It (I get) isn't something they hear, but rather see it visually just like a calendar.
Thanks! Thinking apparently happens outside the brain! The brain itself just registers it and puts it into words.
