CA Burning and the Electric Grid

Q.  What is the truth about why they are temporarily shutting down electric service for all those people in California? They say because of the meters' hazard but that story sounded sketchy to me.

A.  I know this has been in the news, and many are curious, so I thought I would take take to "look" at it.  I may have to chose my words wisely, but I am hopeful you will understand the message...

There is a lot going on with these fires.  I see many sides of this.  There is a purposeful start of the fire, manipulation for power upgrades and also testing the way people react.

When I look at this situation, I see this situation was intentionally started.  It has the vibe of being meticulously planned out.  The timing with the weather was essential.  It is as if the humidity, temperature, wind and air content (with regards to pollution, or how the pollution hangs in the air) was just right.  I see this being manufactured from a "beam" that looks to originate in the Pacific Ocean from a ship.  This interesting thing is as this "beam" is released, it looks to go upward, and then arc down.  It is shown to me as an animated diagram in slow motion (makes me flash back to studying trajectories in college calculus).  As I realized (in a conversation with someone), this beam is completely invisible, and shows "a purple glow" when viewed with infrared goggles (which is strange because I thought they were all green so not clear on the type of beam/laser being used???)


I further got that the target areas were areas in which they hope to get government money to rebuild and recover.  Developers see this as a way to make a lot of money in the highly taxed area of California.  The goal is to create high dollar homes, and also strategic "cluster" housing.  The more people residing there, they more tax revenue, and I get the area really needs it.  Some areas will be dedicated to replanting, but there is also a large part that will be used to build. 

To piggyback on this devastating event, I see the power company using this to their advantage too.  I see them using this as a way to either get funding, taxes or increased cost of power to complete the upgrades that should have already occurred.  I hear that "when the power is out, especially for a period of time, people are much more willing to dig deep in their pockets."  Even though shutting off power is dramatic, this will be an effective way to create revenue.  They may even be able to get government money, or somehow finance/fund this with government assistance (or even some kind of loan at a very low interest rate???).

The other part of the power outage is to  simply test people and see how they react.  Are people prepared for disaster?  Are people prepared to go without electric?  How willing are people to do what the government says when basic needs are being challenged?  In some ways, I see this as a social experiment to see what will really happen and how desperate people can be.

This is truly a sad situation for all those living it.  Please send some love and light their way as they need support during these very trying times.
