All my friends are heathens. Take it slowA. I see this as a person that got connected with some dark and negative forces and they are telling their story as a warning or tale of caution and make better choices about the company you keep. I see that they were really down, sort of at a loss, and then someone came into their life (who is connected to a powerful group that fears no one and answers to no one). This "group" looked normal and acted normal in the beginning, but this was a disguise. A trust formed, and as they become more and more vulnerable to their new "friend(s)."
Wait for them to ask you who you know
Please don't make any sudden moves
You don't know the half of the abuse
Welcome to the room of people
Who have rooms of people that they loved one day, docked away
Just because we check the guns at the door
Doesn't mean our brains will change from hand grenades
You'll never know the psychopath sitting next to you
You'll never know the murderer sitting next to you
You'll think, "How'd I get here, sitting next to you?"
But after all I've said, please don't forget
All my friends are heathens. Take it slow
Wait for them to ask you who you know
Please don't make any sudden moves
You don't know the half of the abuse
We don't deal with outsiders very well
They say newcomers have a certain smell
You have trust issues, not to mention
They say they can smell your intentions.
All my friends are heathens. Take it slow
(Watch it)
Wait for them to ask you who you know
(Watch it)
Please, all my friends are heathens. Take it slow
(Watch it)
Wait for them to ask you who you know
Why'd you come? You knew you should have stayed (It's blasphemy)
I tried to warn you just to stay away (Away)
And now they're outside ready to bust (To bust)
It looks like you might be one of us
Eventually the relationship turned into something uncomfortable, and when they tried to leave the relationship threats were made. They didn't want to take it seriously, but then their "friends" true selves were revealed, and these friends were darker than they could have ever realized.
They warn you of getting too close or being manipulated, because it happened to them before they realized what was happening. They feel it is too late for them, but you can still save yourself. Be safe and be cautious and let intuition be your guide (because appearances can be very deceiving).
And that is all I have for this reading. Thank you. Love and light-

Thank you for this reading Lynn. The singer seems to be introducing someone to this dark group, especially with the line, "Wait for them to ask you who you know", however, it also seems to be a cautionary tale for the listeners, so I take solace in that at least.
A few thoughts:
The line, "Welcome to the room of people who have rooms of people that they loved one day, docked away," may allude to sacrifices of family members for fame and fortune.
There is also the line, "They say newcomers have a certain smell," which may be a reference to the lack of a sulfur odor. It is Sherry Shriner, I believe, who says people who have been in contact with aliens or demonic beings have reported the smell of sulfur associated with these beings.
Great reading!
Wow, that's powerful stuff, and I relate to it very much. I was drawn into social circles that were full of psychopathic types, it's scary looking back that I made it through at all. Now I don't think I'll be able to trust anyone to get close to again. Those lyrics have a real menacing miasma about them. It sounds very much like a Pluto transit.
Very interesting timing! I've keep hearing this song as well (and I'm old LOL). It struck me odd. My thought was more fear mongering. Another big dose for the young people. I hope it is a warning and a heeded one. This is probably off topic...sort of...I've just started watching the Netflix series "The Crown" I find it very interesting how the royals are being portrayed as loving and oh sooo human. Just had to throw that out there for your thoughts. Propaganda? Hillary and the royals. Oh so loving humans. Yikes!!
Bertie I seem to always have a fondness for but that maybe part of the propaganda. I'd like to think like the younger royals, there are some good souls in the bunch.
Love this reading...lived this song and learned.
@Diane - I noticed in the first episode of Elizabeth that when the King was getting dressed in the company of men he made several jokes about a woman's private parts very similar to Donald Trump's locker room talk. I thought that was interesting considering the timing.
@ Chatty Cathy - Good observation!
royals and in particular prince phillip are absolutely vile people
Thanks for the comments everyone. It was an interesting (and sort of disturbing) reading. Much love-
So many music groups are warning or telling us the truth through their music and videos. Just more "truth hidden in plain sight" though most don't notice it and brush it off as an artist being artistic.
One of the bands that sticks out to me more than any other current pop group is "Imagine Dragons." I recommend reading their lyrics if you are interested in this sorta thing.
Remember, remember, the 5th of November...
The band NILE with their song sss haa seth yoth. Is interesting with their lyrics about reptillians. They focus mainly on ancient egypt.
Gosh i had a bad feeling after hearing the song. Looked up the song and couldn't get the meaning. The writer was said to be talking about religion, but I was getting just dark energy from it.
Try not to listen to it too often.
I do agree. All too often the truth is hidden in plain sight, and we (with the help of our conscious mind) brush it off, when really those are the things we should be paying attention too. :-)
I was intrigued by "Heathens" and thank the poster for asking Lynn's insight.
Did anyone note the entry way into the prison? A Grim Reaper greets you with "Welcome to Belle Reve" (French for "beautiful dream") and the slogan "Til Death Do Us Part." On the left is a snake, and on the right is a fleur de lys--both symbols used by the Illuminati.
I note from Wikiedia's bio on Twenty One Pilots that the current duo (two others formed the band with Tyler but left--did they "take it slow" and "got away"?) attained significant success with "Heathens," which made the duo the only alternative artists to have concurrent top-ten singles? Impressive.
Is Tyler telling us that he lives in a beautiful dream--unbelievable success--with the reality of having a psycopath and murderer on each side? A crushing realization that the beauty of success came with a crippled, aborted life. Dark song, indeed.
Let's never forget that a wealth of music exists within our world, which both uplifts and honors the human spirit. I, for one, cannot hear Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" without feeling so invigorated and renewed that the world is my oyster...as they say!
