Q. I was wondering whether you could do a reading about 'gods' and 'goddesses'. When people such as the Ancient Greeks were praying to deities, was there any 'thing' out there receiving their prayers. For example, if one was to worship the God of War, would they be tapping into the energy of 'warfare' and therefore more likely to win in battle or be given strength? Or if they worshipped a Harvest Goddess would this mean it would be more likely that they would receive a bountiful harvest? Was there something receiving their prayers, or were they just deluded? And can we harness the energies of certain 'gods' today through prayer?
A. In very ancient times ETs would travel to earth to share knowledge, breed with the humans, and in some cases show dominance and create fear (depending on the species of ET). Humans would see these advanced beings as gods. These gods exhibited abilities that were unknown to humans. Some ETs were able to manipulate gravity and "levitate." Some came in flying machines. They spoke both telepathically and through verbal sounds, and had knowledge far beyond our human time and experience. In the ancient human minds, these beings were gods, or godlike. These "gods" were to be respected, feared and worshiped because their capabilities far exceeded anything of humans. Humans wanted the 'gods" on their side, which created this feeling of needing to pray or worship them.
When ancient civilizations would go through hardships, the humans would pray to these beings for strength (or weakness to the opponent). The humans wanted help from what they viewed as "gods." The prayers (which is what "intent" is) would be heard by the "gods" which are a component of the universal consciousness. The universal consciousness is what would allow you to win a war, but ONLY if it were in your greater good. If the "gods" came to your rescue it was because the universal consciousness put that action in motion.
We can harness energy, but it comes from the universe and not individual gods. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, but we can shift its location to serve a different purpose (I see a person soaking up the energy of the sun, and that energy resides within the person). Praying or putting through an intent opens you up to receive the energy or healing (also creates empowerment and accountability). The intent forms the connection or pathway to allow the "universe" in.
And that is all I have for this reading. Thank you.

Hi Lynn,
Thank you so much for answering my reading, really means a lot to me :-)
Just to clarify, is it right to say then that the whole concept of praying to a higher being comes directly from human interactions with ETs wherein humans would try and appease ETs to gain favourable outcomes for themselves? So even someone praying to God today is mimicking the act of begging a higher life form for assistance, something that has become culturally ingrained in us from our ancestors who interacted with ETs? However, instead of directing this to ETs, many now are directing this towards 'God' or 'The Universe' but the fundamental act of prayer is still the same in that we are begging something "above" us for assistance?
Interesting. My grandmother used to say, its all in the intent
Hi PF thank you! Please could you check the picture of this statue found in Guinea W-Africa carved into granite. The torso measures 150 m in height and according to specialists the biotype of the goddess in not African (http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=nle994&s=8). Who could possibly have done this huge half portrait up in the mountains, which deity was depicted and what was the intention? Can you possibly get an age of when this was accomplished? Thank you! Do they still visit? Why have they stopped visiting?
@2SpiritAngel: You worded that very well! I see prayer / intent as being exactly what you described.
@Camryn: It really is..
@WatchandKnock: That is really amazing. Never seen that before. I tuned in to try to see if a human did this or was it indeed ET in nature. I actually see this massive scaffolding system set up in which humans did this with the influenced of ET technology. It was as if the humans were gifted this "laser cutting" device, and as a way to show thanks they used the technology to craft this art. I can't get a year, but it is thousands of years ago. I feel like the it is a time in which societies or civilization was starting..
@Bee: They stopped because they were forced away. It was permitted to intervene with humans in the early stages of development (plant a seed and watch it grow), but then they were forced away to let us evolve on our own. They are "around" but they do not openly visit..
How does it work, directing our thoughts/intent to the universe to receive favorable results. I've read The Secret and have applied its positive thinking/ expectations of positive results combined with my own planning and efforts but ultimately my dreams have not manifest. Are there other factors involved besides our thoughts that determine if we manifest our dreams?
Also, do our thoughts travel along invisible lines of communication similar to how our global communications (phone, television, internet) travels along invisible electromagnetic lines, or are these two entirely different systems?
@Chatty Cathy: Thoughts do travel like little energetic charges. It is like the most intense wireless system out there (is how my mind wants to make sense of it).
You can manifest the things that you want, but the overriding factor is if it is in your greater good. Some people wish for things that if they got would change who they are or what their path is. For example, some people want wealth, but maybe they were wealthy in a previous life and they are to learn to be humble and see that perspective. You may ask for wealth and get it in a way to didn't exactly mean (maybe you are healthy, blessed with children, etc), but not meant to have it in the terms of money. I also hear to be careful what you wish for- your wording of your intent has to be very clear and concise.
Psychic Focus,
Talking about Goddess, does the Goddess of Mercy, Kuan Yin, really existed or it's just a myth or legend?
If she existed, was she a "he" or a "she"
Thank you.
@lilian: I definitely get female energy behind this god. I also get she did exist and got her title because of her compassion towards humanity.
Psychic Focus,
Sorry to ask you more about Kuan Yin but why do you describe her as god? I thought god doesn't exist?
You mentioned that she did exist but does she still exist? Was she a human being who has evolved into one of the highest beings now?
Thank you again.
@lilian: You are right.. I should have chosen my words better. She did evolve to a spiritual being, and that would have been more accurate to describe her.
Someone very important in my country gave me this little kuan yin statue i felt very happy for that gift! In my country Venezuela we have a goddess "Maria Lionza"
