Who has heard of the great LED conspiracy?
The shift to LED lighting has been pushed due to the energy efficiency, promising lower electricity bills and a reduced carbon footprint. That sounds great, but this leap in technology comes with a hidden cost - specifically to our eyes. I've noticed that I feel off when I am surrounded by LED lights for a period of time and learned their intense blue light output and flickering (which isn't seen by the naked eye) are quietly wreaking havoc on our vision. Old-fashioned incandescent bulbs have a warm, steady flow whereas LEDs emit a spectrum of short-wavelength blue light, which some claim penetrates deeper into the retina, potentially accelerating damage over time.
It has been shown that the flicker effect caused by rapid on-off cycling in some LED drivers may induce eye strain, headaches, and fatigue, even if we don’t consciously notice it. Conspira-factors take it further, suggesting governments and corporations pushed LEDs knowing these risks, prioritizing profit and energy efficiency over public well-being.
How many of you have experienced eye issues with fatigue, dry eye or blurred vision when behind the screen. Many feel this in the workplace, school or even home when they are there for extended hours without exposure to natural light. Try this experiment: Go outside and allow yourself to focus your eyes in the natural light. Allow your eyes to decompress from the constant blast of LED light with the constant flicker. Within minutes see if you will feel better and many times it will help alleviate the LED symptoms when you put a little nature into practice.
Happy Friday Folks!
Much Love,

so annoying they pushed incandescent light bulbs off the market. Maybe Optometrists that are part of the Woke Deep State were behind this.
ReplyDeleteNot sure but I have a friend that is an eye doctor and between constantly focusing on screens (phones, tablets, etc) that are close to their face and the blue light, MANY more people are having eye issues..
