Who here loves football? The Eagles vs. Chiefs is about to hit it off on February 9th for the "Big Game." It isn't my jam, but I get that lots of folks love it and wait all year to partake in the festivities. What if I told you that much of what you see on the field is staged and high stakes games are bought and paid for long in advance? If it is like how I felt at 13 learning the WWF was choreographed acting, you can still love the sport but you will see it with a new set of eyes.
There can be lots of fun with the game, but there is a dark side to it too. Between gambling and dirty deals, lots of money changes hands causing [some] people to make or throw certain plays and [some] referees to make calls in favor of one team over another. Any die hard fan has witnessed this and played it off as a bad call when in reality it was something they HAD to do.
Another conspiracy theory [fact] that came to light over the years is that this "Big Game" is one of the single LARGEST outlets for human trade. This is a time of year when people with lots of money and influence gather, and the opportunity for all kinds of transactions are possible. Arrests happen every year and lots of nefarious activity surrounds this event. Sadly, there is a lot that isn't caught and this goes on year after year after year....
The football season and Big Game also serve as a money funneling system for the government as well, [i.e make up a ridiculous board or committee and send money to your friends]. The new Department Of Government Efficiency has uncovered a LOT of waste [laundering] of money in this area. Here are a few examples and I shared a video below that goes into more detail:
- National Huddle Standardization Board to maintain the perfect huddle size and formation - $12 million annually
- End Zone Dance Oversight committee to observe and fine players for excessive jubilation
- Bureau of Halftime Show Committee to prevent wardrobe malfunctions - $20 million annually
- National Cleat Safety Administration to test cleats on all turfs for safety
- Department of Gatorade Color Uniformity to match the color pallet with the teams colors
I'm hopeful that our new administration and revamped government 2.0 will bring light to some darkness [and BS] so we can start to go back to the values and morals we once had. I think in time it will seep into all areas of life, including athletics.
Here is to exposing truth and a better America!
Much love, Lynn

I saved 10 years of life completely ignoring Football and other team sports which are the Bread and Circus opiate of the Masses that keeps them from thinking about the things that really matter. I hope Trump and Co make some serious Child Pedo busts this year as many children go missing during both the Superbowl and Holloween.
I'm right there with you, Robert!
