Who has heard of Butcher's Broom? Not I until a few weeks ago when someone from the blog shared information with me and I couldn't resist diving deeper into the health benefits.
It is most known for its potential benefits in improving blood circulation. Butcher's Broom constricts veins, thus aiding in better circulation (think support hose, but from the inside). My "go to" protocol for heart and blood issues (thick blood, clotting, etc) is twofold: eliminate inflammatory sugar/carbohydrates and take cinnamon and now I have something new to consider.
Some people experience a drop in blood pressure when they stand and if you get light-headed often, you know what I'm referring to. Make sure your sodium and mineral levels are good, and if they are it could be related to circulation. There is evidence Butcher's Broom can help with this condition.
Like anything, do your research before starting a new supplement. Once you do I sense you will be as pleasantly surprised as I was.
You can take Butcher's broom in various forms including capsules, tinctures, and teas. There is no "exact" dose, BUT I find that supplemental capsules that are pre-measured help take some of the guesswork out of dosing (again, do your research). Here is the one I would suggest: https://amzn.to/41xKfH3
