A. Dowsing and the use of a pendulum is very energetically different from a Ouija board. I get that the creation and use of a Ouija board stemmed from negative intentions based on dark magic and rituals. I also get that no matter how innocent the creation of this board was, it took a dark turn very fast. Not only did the PTW (Powers That Were) want some kind of leading edge of predicting events, they wanted to ensure they could accomplish what they set out to do. They wanted ultimate control, power and influence. The use, appearance and intent are not for the inexperienced, and these boards are not toys.
Dowsing is much different. In this practice of seeking water, minerals or even metals, you are tuning into the frequency and changes in frequency of the earth. A person can desire to dowse for a variety of reasons, but you aren't calling on a spirit to guide you. The result you have, and strength of the feedback you feel on your dowsing rods is due to your own personal vibration, and how well you connect to Mother Gaia.
Pendulums can be quite effective, but you do need to set protection before you use one. They are typically a crystal (naturally a high vibration) or metal. Setting protection and going into your questioning with positive intent is in no way satanic. If you approach your questioning working against the greater good, or have a desire for a negative outcome, you will get just that. Pendulums, and the result are truly dictated by the user.
Most things that enhance a person's connectedness with either the earth or Source are looked down upon. There is an agenda to keep people fearful, and less empowered. Fearful people can be controlled, and fearful people will look external for safety and security. When people see they can control their world, they reclaim their power.

Hi Lynn. Can you please recommend which types of crystals might be the most powerful to use with pendulums? There's literally hundreds of different crystals to choose from and I'd be grateful for your psychic input on this.
@Just Curious: You are right. I tell people to pick one they are drawn toward, but in general, clear crystal quartz makes a great stone. :-)
