Q. If it's true that what we believe becomes our truth. If we were eating something unhealthy such as fast food every day but we believed it was super healthy and good for us, would it actually become healthy for just us? Or does it really not work that way?
A. I see that much of what we do is mind of matter. Our thoughts do create our reality for the most part. I get the important message to this is to remember that our thoughts are both conscious and subconscious in nature. For example, if you are in a relationship that is not in your greater good, you can consciously tell yourself that things are good and things will get better, but if your subconscious knows otherwise (because it is in tune with your higher self), you are unable to tell yourself something that isn't true; therefore, your reality will be a result of what your subconscious and conscious mind need you to experience.
In the example of fast food, you can have gratitude for the nourishment and tell yourself it is healthy, but your subconscious knows the real truth. The attitude you take as you take in the food (happiness, enjoyment, thankfulness) can lessen the ill effects, but it cannot convert what is a less healthy option into a good and healthy option.
We can be dismissive of the truth, but we cannot hide from it.
And that is all I have for this reading. Thank you. Love and light,

I was listening to an Abraham Hicks video on this subject. Abraham said that we should do what feels good to us, but there is a difference between what "feels" good and what "tastes" good. Also, while it is possible to transmute the properties of food through our belief system, as Lynn says, it is tricky. If we decide that we can eat anything because our positive thoughts will transmute it, it may very well be that the energy that we are projecting subconsciously is carelessness.
I was thinking about this subject early today. I do agree. I often hear people's stories about living in an unhealthy place (for instance, where there's lots of fight and mean energies). To one point you can neutralize them by your positive attitude, but to some other point the exposure eventually will take it's toll on you so you either have to cut it out or leave to a better enviroment. I guess food works the same way and as there are places who work out and are good for me (differente to each person), there as foods that are ok or great for me, instead of others.
I always tell myself, "it's going to work out, it's going to work out, somehow it is going to work out..." And it never fails, it always does.
Very interesting , clear explanation , thanks!
So I wonder how those people live on just energy and air, the ones who claim they don't eat food?
Wonderful, many thanks for this information 😄
I would like to take this time to thank "The Little Engine That Could".
A good way to connect to your higher self is to practice automatic writing where you can write out your question and then keep you hand still and soft, waiting for the answer while holding the pen until your hand starts moving by itself to provide the answer. Try it.
Thank you for the comments.
Robert: That can be very effective, just make sure you set protection or call on your guides so a trusted source comes through and not just and spirit hanging out on the other side.
I try this Everytime I go to McDonalds . It does not work.
I was just reading about this topic yesterday!! I periodically reread various portions of Nicolay's work because so much is conveyed within the densely packed language.
"For this reason,we would say in summation that it is indeed important to honor and to monitor that which you use as sustenance to survive. While you have the power in certain instances within some frequencies to transmute that which you eat into health and wholeness, this is not always possible. We would suggest that it is important to become sensitive to what you eat, to monitor its integrity and know its origins, to attempt whenever possible to honor that which you are eating and to refrain from eating that which has been in a sense defiled by those who merely seek to make money in greater and greater quantities at the risk of human health."
Thanks, Lynn, for reading on this topic! You amplified my understanding!
