Q. Does cursing dirty words lower your vibration? Is it negative energy?
A. As I put this question out there the first thing I get is that language is a way to be expressive and to communicate with others. It is used to convey information, thoughts, feelings and ideas. The "Universe" doesn't see a word as being good, bad or even defined as a "curse" word- Those are terms we apply to different words. In fact there are good words that can be used in very negative ways- It is the intent and energy you put behind that word that determines if it is of a lower vibration. For example, you can say "dam or damn" -different meaning, different intent and different energy tied to it. Some people even use the slang of a "curse" word such as dang- and depending on the energy and intent, could have just as low of a vibration as the word it is tied too. There are even words that are considered curse words in some countries that are acceptable in others.
It is coming to me that people can even say things to each other that aren't curse words, but they are equally as negative. This can be in the form of name calling or belittling others. This act creates a very low vibration and works against the greater good. I am then being shown a rude person yelling "move!" to someone in their way- not a curse word, but still extremely low vibrational energy is expressed.
In closing, using what we term as a "curse word" itself doesn't lower vibration- it is the meaning and intent you carry behind the word. If you mean ill will, are expressing anger or intending to cause harm, (putting negative energy with it) then the word is tied to lower vibrations. Choosing to use or not use a "curse word" is a personal choice based on how certain words make you feel, how you want to express yourself or how you want others to perceive you, but the "Universe" doesn't care what words you use-The thing the "universe" cares about is your intent and how you use them.
And that is all I have for this reading. Love and light-

Cursing someone, which Da-da often does while driving, is basically the opposite of forgiveness (which means, "to overlook") and creates a negative wave cycle (it's a cycle 'cause it comes back to you eventually). But how can you overlook that jerk who just cut you off, endangered your kids, and drove through that nice lady's rosebushes? If you curse someone -- and catch yourself doing it -- just stop, see X's through the word and think: "XXX I take it back." That stops the intent and will save you soul-time in the long-run. Da-da's two cents.
Thank You Lynn! Do collective (global) meditations to rise the vibration of the planet work?? (as suggested by Cobra: http://2012portal.blogspot.com.br/2015/02/weekly-liberation-meditation-update.html)?
@Dada: Good advice. :-)
@Jason: Energy is projected to some extent even if it isn't heard (for example, you may look at someone and think something, and then they turn and look at you because they "feel" the unspoken word).
None of us are perfect and we all have moments of irritation toward others (for example, someone cuts me off in the car when my children are with me and my protective mama bear instinct comes out). Once it starts, take a breath (and exhale the negative energy out- you are right in not holding it in). Realize you don't know what is going on in the other persons life (maybe they are in a hurry due to an emergency? or maybe they run on a low vibration and can't comprehend those around them?). Recognize that- and if you think that way you actually have this feeling of feeling sorry for them because you don't have that need (or oblivious nature) to affect others in a negative way.. Keep in mind feelings of love outweigh all, so if you "rewire" your thinking once it starts, you balance out your energy.
Always remember this too- the universe works in mysterious ways and possibly the person (in reference to driving) created a situation that prevented you from being in a car accident.
@watchandknock: Yes! These type of meditation raise vibrations and increase the collective consciousness.
Ive always believe this. Someone can say you are beautiful in the most sarcastic way.....curse words are man-made.....i believe the universe is more concerned with actions than words since ppl say a lot of things they dont mean.
I love you, guys...and I mean it. ;)
We love u tooo....love and light :))
@jason... intent is intent. And the person you end up cursing is YOU. Next time you're out in the world, try seeing everyone as members of your immediate family... because they are. Da-da knows, it's hard to forgive. Either do it now, or stay at the same level and repeat another lifetime till you do.
words of wisdom dada....how about acoiding people who avoid hurt you? there are poison in human form
Hi Lynn, in a reading/post you had made a couple of months ago, you had covered the matter of the letter 'S' and the word 'You' and had mentioned about them being negative.
Given that intent is what matters, is someone who uses 'S' or 'You' in their conversation or in writing, with no ill-will, then will the problem with them still remain?
@Rajesh: Intent is the most important factor in the "spell casting" effect. If you mean no ill will, there is still the underlying intentional meaning from where the word was created, but it is much more diluted without the person's intent reinforcing it (therefore, there is a need for these words/phrases to be so common to keep them working).
Thanks, Lynn.
