Regarding the bankers stockpiling gold and silver, I've noticed in many stripmalls around the country stores have popped up with signs that say "We'll buy your gold"? Is this call for gold jewelry a covert effort to stockpile gold and take it out of the hands of citizens?
@ Chatty Cathy: I do see this that way. They want to collect the physical gold and silver because it is in limited supply and replace it with the paper (stock) gold or silver that really has little or no value.
