I also had someone new to meditation request some pointers, so I want to share some thoughts (feel free to piggyback on any of this in the comment section- we learn so much from each other :-)
- Find a comfortable spot and position. You will need to be able to relax and stay relaxed.
- Set your intent. Think about what you want to accomplish prior to the meditation. For example, "I would like to have a deeper connection to the universal consciousness. I want to experience things only in the greater good of myself and others during this journey."
- Clear your mind and start to relax yourself- start with your feet and move upwards. (If you find your mind wandering and thoughts are invading, just clear you mind and go back to relaxing. Some people like quiet, some like music, some like to focus on a color or image- you do what feels right to you.
- Allow you subconscious to work- you may see nothing and be more in tune with emotion or you may see an image like a daydream- just go with it.
- When you feel your meditation is over, take a few cleansing breaths, and go about your day..
You may not get an answer right away, and that is ok! Often times within the next day or two you will have a moment or feeling of clarity- the universe may need a little time to allow things to align to make the answer "feel right."
Also, as long as you set good intentions, there really is no wrong way to do it- if something doesn't feel right, readjust what you are doing and try again. Different things work better for some than others, and like anything, experimenting and practice will make this a great experience.

Those are good reminders. Da-da always forgets about setting intent... which is probably why his astral body always winds up in the restroom of a gas station in San Bernardino

I did try to join you guys but after a night of my 2 year old seeing monsters in his room all night and now the wiggles playing loudly on the next room I wasn't able to shut my mind off. I did try to send an intent to wish all of you all the best during it so hopefully that contributed just a tiny bit :) look forward to see what everyone experienced!!
Despite my neighbors construction noise (I had headphones) I had a very good experience, images of light and bright, barriers removed, offering help and light to people I know they need, 20 minutes but deep, but ended with my cat and construction
I did 25 mins.....it felt great...we should do this more often esp During solstice
Did about 45 minutes. It was a great experience. I put my hands out while in lotus position and it felt like I was touching the hands of others. My hands got very warm. I at one point got hot all over and had what I call a bit of the Kundalini Wiggle. I just kinda sway a bit. I hope we can do it again and make a difference in the crazy world. L&L Ya'll!
Thanks so much for organizing this meditation Lynn and to Craig for the beautiful meditation music. I just sent out a spiral of love with a lots of intent. One thing I learned that seems effective (this was a technique that came from the dolphins) is to direct heart energy in a spiral cone to your intent target and encircle that intent inside a dodecahedron, then spin the dodecahedron and visualize it glowing and going faster. I felt a nice warm energy and an encircled sense of wellbeing that's still buzzing!
I used the meditation Da-Da gave us. When I cut the sandbags loose, I visualized them being the 7 chakra colors and the balloon was purple and white. And when I had to heat up the balloon, and you hear that whooshing sound balloons make, I visualized a separate problem being released and rising up with each whoosh. I changed it up a bit, but that is what I did.
I floated over a picturesque valley of green grass. I saw a castle on the horizon and I floated higher until there was nothing but blackness around me.
I asked my Guides for help. I asked for access to the Hall of Records and a few other things.....Maybe I was too pushy....lol
But my mind began to wander. I never got a reply or anything. Then I looked up and 28 minutes were gone and I felt like it was 10, 15 at the most.
So, I said Thanks and ended it. No major revelations. Anyhow, that was my experience.
Hello everyone! This was amazing. I met a new guide (the one carrying me to my next phase of development)... I kept calling her "Clara".. it didn't seem like her real name, but rather a name my subconscious made up.. We discussed some things I wanted more clarity on, and then she grabbed my hand and took me to a sunset (I felt like Santa Claus as she guided me through the air). My impression was that I was in New York overlooking a sunset..?? It was quite beautiful and we floated there for a while.
Then I told "Clara" I wanted to meet Dada.. before I knew it I was in this room, and I saw a man, but he wasn't "there," but there was a cat staring at him??? Then I started smelling something like oils, herbs, incense?? cedar, sandalwood ?? Very earthy and I kept wanting to smell it???? Then I floated above (what I think was his house) into this tornado of energy.. I spun there for a bit, not in fear, but like I was soaking it in..?
Then "Clara" took my hand and we were floating in the air to New Orleans, and on our way a man with short dark hair and a dark mustache grabbed my hand and "said, Hello, I have been wanting to meet you" If it was someone on here, please let me know- I didn't catch your name!!
Then in New Orleans I kept hearing another contributor talking (Robert).. I didn't see him, but I could hear his voice (couldn't make out the words, but it was like chatter) and also the chatters of thoughts of his meditation group (like a radio channel that was out of tune).
I ended on the water again where I eased out of my meditation!
It was great, and I feel that we need to do this again! Love and light to all of you!
I had a hard time to settle down, and when I did, I just got images from the walls of grade school, then I thought about Dada in a restroom and laughed out loud, then gave up :-)
I teared up a couple of times, I dont know why. Kept seeing images of random rooms, some of which I have never seen before. I saw a portrait(or was it a painting?) of some birds, and one of them opened their mouth and closed it. Then I started to get Itchy and I could no longer feel my legs. It seemed like I could no longer bear my position and gave up. I still prayed afterwards though. This was nice. Hopefully next time I will be more prepared :)
I did about 20 mins until my music stopped. I did a lay down positions with three crystals one in each hand and the last on my 3rd eye.
@Diane Hamilton I also felt warm my left hand and the top of my head became hot I thought it was my crystals doing it lol
I first asked for good positive vibes for the rest of the world during these trying times.Then I put an intent out there for only good energy to come and guides, spirits of the light to only be allowed in. Then I asked for answers dealing with the path that I'm on. I think I did pretty well except for my mind wandered off like two times about fried chicken lol😅I think cuz I knew that's what I had in the fridge waiting for me. I had to bring myself back then I started contemplating if my eyes were really closed good thing I had a pillow on top my eyes!finally I began to focus on what I wanted to truly see, its so funny what your mind perceives lol I was making shapes out of the darkness, first I saw like a purple swirl blob, then dark shadows moving by all this with my eyes closed and also I started to get a image of fingerprints thru the swirls of the blackness if that makes sense😕then I started to tell myself that the color black isn't really so black after all ya I know deep right? Lol
I listened to Craig music so thanks to him for that it was great. Welp that was my experience! Oh and also for a quick note I know it's about what resonate with you personally. Before today's meditation I did one two nights ago which I actually fell asleep too,but I found out that shamanic or native American music really helps me. I had the tingling sensation and my dreams were very vivid! Well that's all just wanted to share that tidbit with you folks.

@Lynn: Wow, you had a way cooler trip than me,... I feel like such a duffer compared to the really gifted out there, but I was so happy and honored just to be part of this. Our meditation group down here had an awesome meeting today twenty strong, and we're at it again tomorrow. I'm sure a lot of us participated with you and glad you felt us. The guy with the mustache sounds like Donny, who asked me right after we finished this afternoon how to connect. I told him to use his heart, not brain and to go on autopilot. Astral travels's fine, showoff, But come down here for real some time! You'll always be an honored guest in our home! I'm going to try Da Da's balloon sand bag technique myself tonight!
Lynn your comment gave me chills when I read you said you was in New Orleans😐 cuz that's where I am. In a suburb right outside of it. funny cuz I forgot to mention that I asked to meet some people on here when I meditated. Thing is I'm not a man though so guess it wasn't me (scratches head)😄
What is Dada's Sand Ballon technique? Can anyone explain please?

Da Da's technique:It's basically a gigantic forgiveness meditation. Imagine you're in a hot air balloon (not difficult for Da-da since he's full of hot air), with sandbags all around the outside of the basket. Imagine each sandbag is something you need to "overlook" or forgive -- or get rid of. Take out your sharp titanium-silver knife and cut at those ropes, identifying and cutting away sandbag after sandbag to fall into the abyss, allowing you to go higher and higher.
I can't remember how long I actually concentrate on meditation but when I opened my eyes, 1 hour has passed with Craig music still playing in loop and the candles still burning with cedar scent.
But I saw nothing. I just felt tingling sensation a few times. I guess that I have had a good rest.
Are we supposed to quiet our mind and closed our eyes during meditation? Or can we still send out positive intents and thoughts during meditation?
Good to know that some of you have some great experience during this meditation. Wow! Lynn, that was a wonderful trip - if only you could have taken me with you. I did talk to you a while but I didn't expect you to hear me anyway :)

First thanks to everyone who is enjoying my music. This is a great feeling to know that I am helping others to focus on their meditation and helping with their spiritual journey in some way. Also nice to be in the "group".
Along with Lynn and many others, I agree that meditation is the single most important thing that anyone can do to raise their vibratory rate, calm/center themselves after dealing with the 3D world, release fear and bring spiritual protection. It also opens one to their higher self, your guidance.
My experience was just normal meditation for me. But during and even before the time came, I felt very spacey, so I knew I was hooked into the group energy. I did some visualizations for earth and sent Light/Love down from where I was, also prayed for peace and the awakening of all people.
I had a picture come into my mind of points of light in different areas of the USA and world, holding energy, that even with such a small group I felt that this was linking together, helping to stabilize the earth and helping to release those who are stuck and don't know how to get past it.
Let's do it again some time
@Robert -I feel the same way about lynn and Google lol I'm so happy to know I have a fellow orleanian on this blog! I get excited when I find people so close to home with the same like mind especially out here.oh and I Def will check out Judith blog thanks so much I really needed to connect with a new spiritual family for a long time now.😆
This was an absolute wonderful idea! After meditating I saw a movie called "I Origins" which I believe was no coincidence. It was about exactly what Lynn talked about regarding souls and how our irises remain the same with each incarnation. It's definitely a must see(no pun intended)!

believe it or not I was dropping sand bags from a hot air balloon in my mind. They represented grudges and different things holding me back. I though it was original. Freaky that it wasn't my idea.

I sent love and light to everyone doing the mediation,then i went to the darkside of the moon. I asked my guides and spititual ancestors to assist me to connect with a healer who was positve/light Being. I asked if can have a healing session, which i got. I was tingling all over and feeling heat in my legs. I was not allowed to explore the area it was as if i was only allowed to go from point a to point b. I feel great.
Hi also made (almost) an experience. Maybe for half a second, then my always contolling mind intervened and diagnosed: "was there something about to happen? But I have lots of solstices left... :)

Man you fellas had some amazing experiences. And lynns and raymonds. Since im the pool of forever stories. Il just post mines in the mix. I cant cant say i had contact...but i was definately working. I was doin a chakra grounding? So i "mentally" illuminated all my vortices started with base. So ran a massive red sphere with same color cord attached to my spine to the core of earth and sank into it..i visualized the entire core and everything/everyone pulsating to the colors as i continued up the scale til i reached crown. Even in the dark and my eyes closed i did notice random instant flashes of lite colored lavender/blue lights in triangular and diamond shapes..as if shining a light thro a crystal and gets all broken up..i actually felt pretty tired afterwards lol! I hope it served everyone in a way it was fit. Thanks evryone and for amazing sharing..blessings..

This was amazing!
I started a few minutes later because I was working so I couldn't listen to Craig's music of prepare anything like I wanted to.
I just lied down on the floor in a dark room. The only image I got was all of us (and everyone else in the world who was doing this) and a few 'beings' taking hands around the earth, like from the space (similar to you @Diane !).
The only strange/different thing from my everyday meditation was that my body moved. (Is that ok Lynn?) Instead of having my arms next to my body I ended up with my arms opened, almost like making a 'T', and my back not touching the floor (I'm sorry I don't know how to describe it very well).
It lasted like 40 minutes. The feeling was AMAZING, I so wanted to stay there (I knew I still had to go back home and take the dogs for a walk so..).
Standing up was like I had an elephant standing on me, not in pain, but it weighted SO MUCH! I never felt so uncomfortable in mi own body, I felt like I wanted to take it off like a big coat.
The ride back home was heavy, I was still 'coming back', I walked like I was stoned. It took me a while to fully come back and use my body normally again.
The connection was immediate (compared to my daily meditations) and the feeling was great. I really felt we were doing something! I so want to do it again! (I just wouldn't like to feel I want to get rid of my body again)

I just layed on my bed with a grounding wire on my heart chakra while listening to the music. I experienced some elevation and clearness and allowed the subcuncious. I definitly noticed something.
Thank you everyone for sharing your experiences! This really was great. I know some of you had questions- but the most important thing is to set a safe intent and go with it- there is no wrong way. You can sit, lay down, whatever is comfortable- I tell people it is better to be comfortable than to get in a position that is uncomfortable (because inevitably you will get distracted). Imagery, music, all of those are great- the important thing is to allow free thoughts to flow so your subconscious can step forward.

Sorry for the late response. Many thanks to all for participating, not to mention the kind words. Many of you were more successful than Da-da, as his meditations have been a bit cotton-swaddled since his bout with various maladies, but it's slowlt coming back. At least he apparently made a big energy tornado! That's Da-da, kinda all over the place.
@Hannon: Funny, Da-da's never meditated in a bathroom. He *has* wished he was someplace else, though, while his children pounded on the bathroom door.
@Bilal: That ringing is spirit talking to you. Da-da has it all the time. The medical establishment thinks we all have, "tinnitus." We don't. Da-da calls it, "the beacon," or "the invitation." When you hear it, pay attention to it and you can hear it better.
Da-da's glad some are enjoying the "Da-da sandbag technique." You can make up your own by using your imaginations. Let your creativity loose while you meditate. It's our greatest strength. With it, you can do literally anything. Try flying. Or Da-da often imagines himself becoming larger and larger, until the earth fits in the palm of his hand -- or the galaxy. You can then breathe love and peace over whatever it is you're holding. The other day, Da-da imagined this with HIMSELF sitting in his hand, raising himself up vibrationally. You're only limited by your imagination. Just don't imagine you're a giant chicken, as it's undignified in the meditative state and other spirits might stare.

Just to elaborate, I fel that I was on a field of flowers, very colorful and bright I had a white tunic with a gold rope around my waist. Very vivid colors, then I traveled (really fast) to see my dad and came back... I am still feeling in peace and calm, something good happened.
Oh that is so interesting about the ringing thing, I used to get that a lot (more of a buzzing vibrating kind if thing in my ears/head, hard to explain) and that was before I "woke up". I always wondered if it was something trying to communicate
@ Dada Lol, I know what you mean, they follow me in, I have to kick them out before I even get to the banging. If I want to take a dump in peace, I have to quietly sneak out of bed at 4:00 am. Plus I'm the only male in an otherwise all female home, which makes entering the bathroom like sneaking behind enemy lines. If I were a wealthier man, I'd build a home with four bedrooms and eight bathrooms, besides armed guards, it would be the only way to maintain peace here :-)

When I started to read your last comment Da Da, I thought you were going to say there is going to be a meditation for people around the globe to be able to take a peaceful, uninterrupted POO. :) When we do our next meditation, and I have feeling we will, lets try that out stretched hand as if we are all holding hands around the planet (like in the beginging). That was really a nice experience for me. @ Juli T. I sat and also laid down on my yoga mat. For some reason I got more interesting visuals that way. Have no idea what they meant! I'm also going to try that sand bag technique. My baggage has it own set of luggage! I'm going to cut that nasty stuff loose!!!

I get that ear ringing and buzzing all the time and it is someone tuning in to you. Got so I could sometimes tell who, including my cat, as to the frequency. I agree it is not tinnitus although some may really have that.

@razio9 and Blimpy: The ringing ears is really common as you start to open yourself up. I had it so loud in my ears last week I had to focus on not focusing on it- that night (after the meditation) I woke up in the middle of the night because the ringing was SO loud I thought it was an alarm clock- then it abruptly just stopped-- I feel like something upgraded (which is something I have been trying to fine tune).

How do I know whether the wandering thoughts in my mind during meditation are invading (hence a need to clear/quiet my mind) or it’s my subconscious working (and go with the flow)?

@Lilian: When you think of your thoughts, ones that are non-productive (such as remembering you need to buy milk or the washer just turned off) need to be readjusted... free thoughts like a daydream are beautiful- go with them. :-)
Does anybody have any experience introducing meditation to children? If so, how do you do it and at what age seems right?
