Politicians Stepping Down

Q. I saw Trey Gowdy just posted on FB that he was leaving politics as per below. I'm not sure if you mentioned this, or I read it somewhere else, but it was mentioned that a number of politicians would not be seeking re-election or stepping down due to involvement with not so good activities (deep state, pizza gate, etc.)

I always felt that Trey was one of the good guys and I hope he is. What are your feelings for him stepping down? Is he just sick and tired of politics or are there other reasons?

"Words cannot adequately express my gratitude to the people of South Carolina for the privilege of representing them in the House of Representatives. The Upstate of South Carolina has an incredible depth and breadth of assets including numerous women and men capable of representing us. I will always be grateful for the opportunity to serve in the People's House and-prior to Congress-to advocate on behalf of justice in our court systems.
I will not be filing for re-election to Congress nor seeking any other political or elected office; instead I will be returning to the justice system. Whatever skills I may have are better utilized in a courtroom than in Congress, and I enjoy our justice system more than our political system. As I look back on my career, it is the jobs that both seek and reward fairness that are most rewarding.
There is no perfect time to make this announcement, but with filing opening in six weeks, it is important to give the women and men in South Carolina who might be interested in serving ample time to reflect on the decision.
To my wife, Terri, and our two children, Watson and Abigail: thank you for all you sacrificed, missed, or did alone so I could serve as both a prosecutor and a member of the House.
To my parents and my three sisters: thank you for having confidence in me and high expectations for me, even when I did not.
To the women and men I worked with at the South Carolina Court of Appeals, the United States District Court, the U.S. Attorney's Office, the 7th Circuit Solicitor's Office, and in Congress: thank you for the texture, depth and joy you added to life.
To the law enforcement officers and victims of crime: thank you for personifying courage.
To those across South Carolina and our country who, over the past 7 years, have expressed words of encouragement, accountability and even criticism: thank you. All are needed for those in public service.
The book of Ecclesiastes teaches us there is a time and a season for all things. There is a time to start and a time to end. There is a time to come and a time to go. This is the right time, for me, to leave politics and return to the justice system."
Q.  When I tune into him I too see him as one of the "good guys."  Our political system isn't what it was, and he feels like he can't represent his people and evoke change the way he wants.  To some extent Republicans vs Democrats were designed to give people the illusion of democracy and keep the debate going, but the current state of affairs has superseded this with labeling and outlandish allegations that stamp people as guilty before given a chance to prove their innocence (and this is destroying to careers).

If he is true to himself and upholds republican ideals he  realizes the potential threat of an false allegations as retaliation and wants out before things get worse.  He cares about his family, and wants to protect them. He looks as though he wants to try to make a difference to the public in an alternate way (outside of Washington).   This decision also feels safer when preserving his future.

Q. BONUS POLITICAL QUESTION:  After seeing some disturbing videos I'd like to just ask straight out, is Joe Biden a pedophile?

A. I get that he is drawn to young girls.  I hear 8 to 14 is his ideal age range. There is something within him that can't NOT touch them.  It is like he knows he shouldn't, but he cannot resist it.  I am seeing this going down a dark path (see lots of ritual symbols and an alter.)

(To be honest I thought I could answer this more completely, but the sick feeling I get is triggering the protective mom instinct in me, and I cannot let it go...I sense how uncomfortable these little girls are, as if it is me, and emotionally it is very hard to continue..I think it is best I just stop there.)

And that is all I have for this reading.  Thank you love and light-

I thought Gowdy could make a difference in DC! Darn it! People are waking up-anyone who watched the videos with Biden would get a sick feeling-it transcends any political affiliation! Thank you for your bravery in sharing your intuition. This is something that confirms what I was feeling for sooooo long. You have said many times there is no good or bad but why do we as people want “Justice”? Just from this post alone it feels that justice will not be served (if at all) during my lifetime. So frustrating when it seems like people who can shed light are stopped (Cynthia McKinney and Gowdy as examples) and people who promote the dark keep on going-no examples needed as we know who they are.

It's a shame he is leaving. He sounded really sincere and genuine in his letter of resignation.

He is definitely someone I'd want on my side if I needed defending. The sincerity in his resignation letter speaks volumes and it's making some people think about what ugliness is really going on behind the scenes in politics.

I hope Gowdy accepts an appointment as a special prosecutor for all the thousands indictments issued by Sessions or gets nominated for a seat on the Supreme Court. He and his family were put under Secret Service protection for a bit, so it's possible he escaped the attacks suffered by fellow republicans Steve Scalise and Rand Paul. Perhaps he's leaving feeling he accomplished something tremendous because of the deep state cleanup operation under way that hopefully will signal the end of politics as usual.

Biden represents the opposite, and his arrogant creepiness to grope 12 year olds in front of their parents in public settings shows how certain those who are protected will never get called out by the otherwise hypocritically sanctimonious fake media. Foot in mouth Joe did say one thing I liked, also ignored by the media. During the ceremony when Obama gave him a Medal of Freedom, Biden turned to Obama and said, "I never, never, never once doubted for a second that your judgement was flawed." The shocked expression on Obama's face when he said that was priceless.

It does seem interesting that a number of politicians would be stepping down for whatever reason that seems to be part of the [current year] trend. Also, I have noticed a tweet from the official Democratic party account basically says to elect different women in a list format (and also listed Jewish women twice in that list). Does that plan have anything related with this? And could the so-called "blue wave" (Democrats taking majority over Congress and/or Senate) come to fruition this year?

Joe Biden may of course be a paedophile. His eyes have been seen turned black on some occasions, so it would be consistent with Lynn's theory of reptilianism as related to paedophilia. But, after having watched all those videos of Joe Biden that supposedly "proves" he has an abnormal, sexual fondness for young girls, I don't think they show anything anything out of the ordinary, and certainly they don't prove he's a paedophile. I think how you react to those videos is also a matter of the culture of physical contact that you have been brought up with. The culture in this respect may differ from one family to another.

Speaking of people stepping down, right after Trumps exec order in Dec that froze the funds (in American banks) and property of anyone found to be involved in corruption and human rights abuse -- which includes pedophilia, human trafficking and so many other nasty things -- there was a huge amount of CEOs and those in high positions in business that have either retired, resigned or died suddenly. I saw the list somewhere, there are over a hundred of them throughout the world. It's only been 2 months since the order. I suspect that this is related to that order. Lynn what do you think, coincidence or related? Are all those people complicit?

@Robert -- I concur about Gowdy. It's very likely that he's tired of being subjected to death threats and wants to protect his family. He would be an ideal candidate for the Supreme Court. I'm hoping he's already got something in the works where his legal prowess and great integrity will be more fully utilized.

The word that comes to mind when I think of Biden is smarmy.

@Craig - good point. I, too, noticed the number of people who have been stepping down after Trump's order.

I've always liked Gowdy. I think that he just may well return to the justice system in some capacity. I can find very little to watch on TV...this includes Netflix. (I know...I know...this is the Universe's way of telling to stop watching any TV!!) The one program I watch on Netflix, with 100's of shows, is "Forensic Files." In many episodes, they interview the prosecutor involved in a particular case...how the DNA evidence helped; how the footprint and shoe were traced; how fibers were matched; etc. Gowdy has been on several programs from his younger days in the South Carolinan justice system. He always seems so satisfied to have put someone who has committed a dastardly deed behind bars. He is a man who believes in justice...not retribution...but justice.

Thank you so much for the great comments.

@Craig: I see this is all interrelated. There are two types of people. Some are in the trenches with this low vibe activities, and are trying to avoid exposure. Others are innocent, but their more conservative beliefs get them labeled and tied to scandals. Either way, people are disengaging from the system.

Gowdy actually resigned because someone found out that he's really DRACO MALFOY.

@Denise: Smarmy is the perfect description for Creepy Joe. And as of now he's a front runner for 2020! As someone else commented I also feel like I've seen his eyes go completely black.
@Lynn: Please take a gander at Mike Pence because he's been linked to pedophilia circles in Indiana, some think he's been called out by Q Anon as a traitor sitting with Kim's sister, he got rid of Mike Flynn who with his son was rabidly anti-pedophile,and was best friends with Jeff Flake who's suspected of pedophile activity. Pence's oh-so-correct facade could definitely be hiding something. If he's a deep state pedophile, it's not a great life insurance policy for Trump and is another reason for THEM to knock him off.

Denise Christensen said...

Draco Malfoy....LOL.

Regarding Pence, I can't quite bring myself to believe he's one of the "bad guys" although I'm not on board with all of his policies. Perhaps he's been involved in "discussions" with deep state regarding a coup against Trump but I somehow can't picture him as a pedophile. Maybe my instincts are off.

On the Florida shooting, I can barely bring myself to watch the news coverage. It pains me to see the suffering of these young people, and then--adding insult to injury--see them used as pawns in the gun control debate.

It's my opinion that we're witnessing the successful conclusion of social engineering of a generation where citizens march in protest of their 2nd Amendment rights that are meant to protect them from the very government that seeks to disarm them. As a Canadian, I probably don't know enough to even discuss the topic, however, it wasn't that long ago that our own government tried to implement a gun registry (supposedly in the interests of security) but it was a dismal failure. It cost the tax payers a lot of money and proved that it made no difference to public safety and certainly didn't deter criminals. In the end, the registry was thrown out. After witnessing 9/11 and the erosion of citizens rights we have all experienced since (Patriot Act, NDAA, TSA, etc), it seems apparent that a society ruled by fear will forfeit their freedoms for security and end up slaves to the state. Or maybe it's just bump stocks that are the problem...

Lynn, thanks for the confirmation. Actually I got the number of CEOs wrong. It's not over 100, it's over 1000 just in 2 months.
